I haven't eaten at Sly's yet in Carpinteria ..the building was sold so I don't know how long the restaurant will be there...but if I do eat there I might have a nice steak sandwich with a Bloody Mary and no one will be the wiser...but you know what? an animal had to die for me to eat that steak sandwich...fries and ketsup resulted in no deaths

now, there's two competing dog nonprofits locally: Davey's Voice and Davey's Legacy both in honor of the pup who was murdered by the Chinese freak who was in America legally to hurt people and animals apparently...

but the animal nonprofits know full well that rich gal Wendy is an animal advocate (on the surface anyway) and any pro-dog publicity is good for them and their bottom line..so it's a cat fight between Gretchen and Julia, #69 to get Wendy's money and attention..both gals are a little kooky so Wendy fits right in with them....

 

so what's my point? well the News-Press had a story (after I did one months ago) about the Chinese dogs saved from the Yulin Dog Meat Festival where dogs are part of the meat market because Asians eat dogs....and the slit-eyed ladies fuck good for the record! so some American folks went over to China and brought back dogs to local people and there's the story...one of the dogs, Wonton, was destined for a soupy grave

so back to my steak sandwich..the question is should dogs be pets or should they be on the menu...look at the News-Press story last week about certified lesbian Cat Cora..when Cat's not busy allegedly romancing slutty reality TV wives, she's cooking up a storm somewhere and now she's got a burger joint on the Mesa...and all you animal lovers know that burgers=dead cows..the News-Press reviewed Cat's restaurant and well, cold limp fries are not too cool, Cat..just keep the deep fryer oil clean ....just kidding Cat!!

but why are cows less important than dogs??

I see no rational reason to keep a dog in the house unless wrapped up as meat in the fridge..ranch dogs are the exception as they serve a purpose...

I'll grant reprieves to Boxers, German Sheperds, Australian Sheperds, and TOTO but all these other dogs are just mixed mutts that serve no purpose...of course Wendy's Gals love dogs with an irrational love that supercedes all others

and there's no amount of preaching that can change that.. I think lots of so-called Christians shamelessly use the bible to justify bigotry and homophobia for if the bible says it's so, it must be so...so why aren't these people advocating killing people who commit adultery or why aren't they killing ox and dripping the blood on the alter as a gift to God?? so I'm reading the News-Press and Brother Andy Caldwell tells that the non-profit Young Miss America Foundation has sued the County of Santa Barbara to stop a trail through the Reagan Ranch....facts are scarce but Andy wants the trail gone and sees Reagan as equal to Lincoln and Washington as presidents...and the Ranch up in the mountains is a national treasure..Rancho del Cielo..although Andy's is a Guest Opinion, it is also obviously Wendy's opinion from one of her minions

the next day the News-Press had a front page story on the lawsuit...

 

well sure it's a cool ranch way out in the boonies and Reagan spent time there riding horses and pitching hay (at least that's what the Hollywood poses suggested)

but we know that Wendy McCuckoo influences the YMAF with her money..she pulls the puppet strings...she owns the Ranch Center building on State St and so she's probably behind the lawsuit against the county and the taxpayers..Wendy's first line of defense is to sue and send her flunky lawyers in to do the dirty work because she hates Americans

and  Reagan's jellybean issue has never really been resolved and what about Ron calling Nancy "mommy"...what's up with that??  sweet surrender??

but Rancho Del Cielo sits on 688 acres so why fuss over a trail anyway?? this issue goes back to 2012 so why a lawsuit now?





I was driving thru Hope Ranch and saw a bunch "SAVE OUR TRAIL" signs...I guess it's the Laguna Blanca trail the kids use or maybe the horse trails that may pass by private property...I know Wendy tried to keep people off the beach below her property..she really does hate Americans!!

of course nobody wants a bunch of white people on trails running thru or close to their property but there's easements and maybe deals can be worked out to keep everyone happy...

the Reagan Ranch was bought by a NON-PROFIT- the Young America Foundation which is tax-exempt, so they really have no rights to exclusive private property as they claim...

allegedly the trail being considered runs close to Ron's adobe but I think it would be cool as a hiker or horseman to see the little house that Ron and Nancy shared...and Ron liked the Louis L'Amore books like 'Crossfire Trail' so maybe he'd approve of a trail for the people

why should the Young Miss America Foundation hog all 688 acres for their little conservative revivals, student brainwashing and conservative celebrity parties??

I say build that trail and don't let a nonprofit dictate the guest list

does the News-Press print fake news? of course it does...City Editor and Wendy sychophant Scott Steepleton made up stuff when he was covering the Peter Lance DUI caper...what Scott forgot to tell us is that Lance lawyer Darryl Genis was a tax cheat but Scott did make up some doozies about the Santa Barbara cops...the end result is Scott finally printed the Genis story (he had to) and Darryl blamed his dead accountant for the crime.. Genis is in big trouble and the SB cops are doing great...

but now it seem Scott fancies himself an investigative journalist and he's all stuck up in something called Targate, a name for the Greka Oil spills from years past..oh we all followed the spills and denials from the likes of kooky Brooks Firestone (who leased land to Greka) and Mike Stoker (who took a job as spokeman for Greka) and we witnessed the County Of Santa Barbara at the expense of taxpayers respond to all the spills..and we saw the horrendous state of the Greka Oil facilites and the poor training of operators...and on and on

but lately the News-Press and Scott Steepleton have been writing a long rambling story about how the feds are responsible for the oil spills and Greka is merely an innocent victim of gov't bullies...

the latest foray into this phony journalism is Scott's attempt to hang homophobia and racism at the EPA's door...read it and it really doesn't make much sense...according to Scott some gov't guy threatened Greka if they didn't clean up their act, they would go to jail and be romanced by a guy named Leroy!! the gov't guy said he didn't recall the conversations but Scott tries to turn that into some high crime by gov't officials...it's like Donald Trump talking about grabbing girls' pussies..it's guy talk..and remember the News-Press was one of two little papers to endorse Trump for POTUS

now, some evidence was mishandled by the County folks according to a judge, but the case against Greka can go on and the company is on the hook for millions in fines..and they should pay

but these oil people and their pals don't like regulations and don't like paying their dues..so they blame the gov't or any gov't agency charged with protecting the environment..is it any wonder they want no regs?? that would leave then free to pollute and make profits at the expense of the environment...

look out your window..what do you see? I see some really nice views of the marsh and hills and will not let anyone pollute it...

it's like Quinn the Mighty Eskimo came down from Alaska and gave us cold and rain...I thought the heat wave would last forever and gave away most of my winter clothes..so I'm down to my Territory Ahead sweatpants and an Old Navy pea coat

the lakes and reservoirs aren't full but the drought is done..as I was watchng the Three Stooges and Twilight Zone marathons on New Year's, I was cracking up and basking in the cozy sci-fi nostalgia...outside the clouds were thick and the air was frigid like my ex-wife...no heat wave just good cold weather and up in the hills toward Ojai, the wind was blowing and it felt real good...

In Santa Barbara, you can't water your lawns, but Mother Nature can so I'd keep the lawns..the smell of fresh cut grass shall not be abridged..it's just too good...but some folks have already installed the astro-turf and Arizona pink rock -cactus mobile home park look which frankly makes me wanna puke

in a drought just let the lawn go and turn brown, then when the rains come it'll come back to life and don't worry about the weeds..let 'em grow because they are the only thing keeping it green...

but the recent rains have turned everything green with surplus water creating creeks and ponds for bullfrogs and such...I love this more than I can say

it took two terms of Obama/Biden to clean up George Bush's multiple messes from the war invasions to the stock market crash and by God Obama did a good job...Obamacare was a bust but so is health insurance in general..when I had health insurance, they raised the premiums all the time because it's a for-profit for the stockholders thing..now I pay cash for medical stuff and will get insurance when and if it becomes something I need....it's just crazy to pay $500/month for health insurance!! the churches and other wealthy nonprofits should pick up the tab for the difference...

ok so I went out and it's a beautiful Sunday New Year's morning..cold and sunny..the recent rains have turned everything green..the pastures and the hills..I can smell the flowers and the coming Spring..the promise of Spring.....

I get home and read Wendy's words of wisdom and she says Obama hates America as much as Trump loves it ..no rational person would say something this stupid....and she gushes because Sprint is moving jobs to the USA...huh? the cellular jobs thing is a PR move as these tech jobs are not blue collar and come and go and every cell phone is made in China anyway!! haha..Wendy you sure are ignorant and the more I read her article, the more I felt sorry for her...this gal got rich because of a divorce..what kind of law would allow that?? the California Community Property Law? that's a law that needs to be thrown out but Wendy is worried about sanctuary cities!! as I've pointed out before, if a city has a church, it's a sanctuary city as churches have provided sanctuary forever and they don't even pay taxes!!

the point is Wendy has never actually done anything in her life of her own efforts...no work ethic, no moral code and on and on...
