so I guess sometimes the wind likes native pine trees and sometimes it likes non-native eucalyptus trees

so then I see some foxy reporter say the Romaine Lettuce e coli contamination saga has been traced back to Adam Family Farms in Santa Maria..and that's the same ultra-conservative anti-regulation Peter Adam who sits on the Board of Supervisors!! whoa..where's the oversight?? where's Andy Caldwell?? where's the News-Press?

this is a public health crisis!! 

apparently, a reservoir they use to water the lettuce is contaminated so that's passed onto the consumers like you and me

could it be a conspiracy?? right-wingers trying to sicken lettuce-eating  liberals?

I don't know but I do know you should test your water on your property for anything unusual..Escherichia coli (E. coli) is a bacterium that is commonly found in the gut of humans and warm-blooded animals which includes the pronghorns, giraffes, okapis, deer, chevrotains, cattle, antelopes, sheep, and goats... so maybe someone or some animal, perhaps a chevrotain or okapi is crapping in the Adam reservoir and maybe people will sue the farm for negligence..

but I'll pass on the salad bar for now

well yesterday I was in Santa Barbara and saw a cool 1960s Mustang by Fess Parker's place...then I go back to Carp and see a blue P51 Mustang circling overhead, then out of the corner of my eye, a 1969 Mustang Cobre GT-350 whizzes by..geez, nice day for Mustangs!!

let's see...what's in the news lately...let's see..oh the News-Press had a story based on a local judge's tentative ruling ..Scott Steepleton wrote it because it's  supposedly about  a 'whistleblower' at the police station...the News-PRess is always trying to bust the cops because the cops busted their pals for DUI and whatever ..but look at DUI atty/News-Press pal Darryl Genis..in prison for tax evasion! and Mr. Wimpy and Peter Lance....POOF...gone

anyway the judge revisited her tentative  ruling because she left out some details and the News-Press had to reveal that the next day...not even a whistleblower issue!!

as if I needed more evidence that the NRA was full of idiots..the Russian spy chick Maria Butina admitted she was a spy who infiltrated the NRA because she knew the CEO and Board of Directors were simps and wanted to get info that would benefit her Mother Country...

SEARS is closing ..used to shop at the La Cumbre Plaza store but they kept opening later and later..from 8:30 am then to 11:30 am..then the service dropped off so why would I shop there when I got Walmart, Kohl's and Amazon...SEARS just couldn't keep up with the times

I saw letter of support in the News-Press for #69, the animal rescuer up in Solvang..ever since her legal troubles, I haven't heard much about her..the letter basically said Julia is sane and everyone else is crazy which is opposite of reality...if she loves animals so much, why doesn't she get a job at the zoo?

the trout guy from EDC is in some trouble for something or other

PADDLEBOARDS, the SB Sailing Center and a bunch of other waterfront businesses are being sued because some 3rd world guy drowned while paddle boarding..apparently he couldn't swim... so the family is suing the City of Santa Barbara and the harbor businesses for renting a board to him...back when I was covering drunk driver issues, the drunks would sue the city for arresting them and claim police brutality...the slimy lawyers  like Cappello and DUI ATTY Genis would line up and take the cases because the city would settle and everyone would get rich except the city..

and we know where Darryl Genis is, don't we..Cappello used to work for Wendy so he's a weasel, too

if you can't swim, then learn how...everybody should swim-just jump in and reach out in front of you and grab a handful of water, pull it back towards you
