well it looks like Kevin Costner sold his house on Padaro Lane for $32000000...  I think he paid around $22000000 10 years ago so a cool 10 mil profit minus expenses!! the original asking price was around 60 mill but that wasn't realistic

really cool bluff top property and the new owner is ready to build a new house...a big new house

so a train got stuck for a few days in Oregon in the snow...crews cleared a big tree that had fallen on the tracks..took a few days so the folks stayed on the train..they had food and some slept in the seats with blankets for all...cozy!! I would have enjoyed the adventure

I don't watch the Oscars not for political reasons, but I just don't know who those people are on stage

so I see some cannabis growers in Oxnard donated money for beds for the homeless...these growers are trying to improve their image but the homeless people, some strung out on drugs, getting beds from drug dealers is just absurd and Oxnard accepting the cash, the dirty money, is just plain lazy

there's nothing normal about taking a hallucinogen for recreation...it's just stupid

Noozhawk is a far superior online publication and I read that Peter Adam, 4th District Supervisor will not seek another term..Pete's reputation was sullied by the Romaine lettuce e coli contamination linked to his family farm...made a lot of folks sick so Peter couldn't continue as a gov't leader if he hates the very regulations that could've prevented the crop contamination....

so his pal/aide Bob Nelson will run and former Carp councilman Joe Armendariz will run according to Noozhawk...I hope more people step up because these two clowns should not be on the gov't dole..Nelson had some issues with art and censored it!!

one gal says it helped her dad with cancer pain..most folks with advanced stages of cancer are on a morphine-drip for pain..then they die..so I guess they should be allowed to pick their drug of choice but drug use should never be recreational...drug use is a psychological problem..if you need drugs to make you happy you'll end up like that surfer dude who died after falling off the bluffs at Hendry's....turns out he was a methhead...happy??

they want to have one lane in either direction and put in angled parking to replace parallel parking..I HATE ANGLED PARKING!!!

this area is fine the way it is..plenty of parking by the Pavillion and I've long enjoyed parking by the side of the road to check out the Bird Refuge or Hugee's palace...quick and easy and it's good spot to park and eat a burger and watch the gals play volleyball...it's beautiful!!!

the folks who live in the area are upset that the City is pulling a fast one here...so the idea is going back to the traffic engineers for modification...but there is no reason to fix what is not broken..Cabrillo Blvd has a certain ambiance from years of good times driving back and forth between Montecito and Santa Barbara..that road has yielded wonderful memories!!

the new hires at the City of Santa Barbara don't understand this..if they like Oceanside so much, they should move there

life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting, my friend

so I see the wine folks are starting to fight with the cannabis folks..grape growers vs pot growers..the County Supes meeting had lots of angry residents from Carpinteria complaining about the cannabis nuisance...these people invested their lives in Carp only to see it turned over to drug dealers...and they are pissed having to deal with odors, increased crime, etc all thanks to the stupidity of the voters..of course there is still black market pot trade by drug dealers who laugh at the new rules....

and in the SYV, the wine industry is appalled by the giant grow farms with big gates and security and NO TRESPASSING signs everywhere..the antithesis of the wineries that encourage people to visit for parties and tasting...

gonna be a fight!!

but I did notice some of the pot gals were real cute and I've had sex with drunk girls, high girls and sober girls and it's all the same...

there's no morality at play..when I want in, I'll get in regardless of behavioral status of the chick...

if any chick gives me the business, you know what I tell her?
