so I'm reading the news and I see some stuff about Hollister Ranch...up north some folks live in a gated community..mostly rich and singer Jackson Brown lives there still I think...even Darryl Genis lived there..remember Darryl, the DUI atty who protected drunk drivers..well now Darryl lives in the pokey..the Graybar Hotel..the Slammer

but the issue is beach access..should the public have the right to the same beach as Jackson Brown? or film director James Cameron (Titanic)?

Wendy tried to keep the little people off her beach too in Hope Ranch..but it's not her beach even though she thinks it is because she's entitled...super-rich from divorce..never worked a day in her fat little life

I don't mind people at the beach at all...on the east coast there's people everywhere and hey we're all equal except some they more equal than others

the California Coast belongs to the people of California, not just a few wealthy hermits so public access must be allowed

KEYT had a story about non-native plants...Beth says it's a botany lesson for us and essentially all the rain we got will allow non-native plants to take seed and become a FIRE PROBLEM!!

huh? the Thomas Fire burned everything in its path..natives, non-natives, cars, houses people..non-native plants are not more susceptible to fire than natives..that's a myth propagated by the biodiversity nuts...bionativism is a pseudo-science and has nothing to do with botany

KEYT's source for the story was some college kid name'o Heather, from the SB Botanical Garden..you know the place where the dogs bite, the beer flows like wine, and  beautiful women instinctively flock there like the salmon of Capistrano...only recently did the BG become a native-only garden..it's when the conservatives took over and they don't like ANYTHING FOREIGN!!

the wildflowers are gonna be awesome this spring and we don't need these plant Nazis demonizing plants they think aren't native  to the region and dreaming up myths about the dangers of fennel

but I am seeing some more media coverage questioning the wisdom of the nets..hard metal chain link nets across the creeks...

ok, some people were shell-shocked by the Thomas Fire and floods, but nets would not have prevented the death and destruction..you can't stop tornadoes or hurricanes and you can't stop floods or fires which are needed for regeneration

so the nets will do nothing because the big rains have gone...the nets may plug with debris and cause the creeks to overflow the banks and flood the homes and streets and wash some cars away..the nets won't save any lives

the nets will catch wild animals..a hawk sweeping down to get a squirrel may run into the net...even a dog hiking with its owner may get caught...

how could you live with yourself knowing a dog got injured by the nets??

so we got a rightwing nonprofit suing the Santa Barbara school district for hiring a left wing nonprofit..the RW nonproft 'Fair Education' is afraid that the LW nonprofit 'Just Communities'  is indoctrinating students into a touchy-feely implicit bias training...it appears that white folks have an implicit bias against Mexicans, blacks and Asians and need to be taught that white people are not superior to anybody else 

Fair Education is concerned that schools are becoming un-American and anti-Christian and anti-male from some of the stories I've read....well, there goes French class!!

first of all,  the Just Communities training is voluntary..second of all the Fair Education group is headed by a prominent gay blade from Carpinteria..being  gay is not exactly a Christian trait..IT IS AN ABOMINATION!!!

the FAIR EDUCATION FOLKS sued the school district but lost so of course they will try again...oh, I hate these nonprofits...the schools should not have hired Just Communities  and should deal with this stuff in class along with the basics- reading, riting and rithmetic...

just have some more electives like "White People, Your Time Is Running Out" or "Republicans in California and Other Funny Stories"
