Well lots going on and most of it doesn't even concern me...but I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! I went to the beach and then the eucalyptus grove down the road..it's a small one but plenty of monarch butterflies, though no clusters..I guess they are headed for Goleta and Pacific Grove to roost...and now I am sick of hearing the nativists demonize eucalyptus trees...obviously the bees, butterflies and birds love the eucs and so do I...any dead tree can be removed, but no tree should be chopped down for a bogus non-native status conferred upon it by morons

Critical Race Theory: white trash racists still live in Georgia...I remember when Georgia was represented by southern gentlemen like the Allman Bros!

South Dakota: the SD Supreme Court outlawed "recreational marijuana" but left medical pot alone and that's what California should do..maybe Gov Kristi is smarter than I gave her credit for

I was reading about the Charlie Munger/ UCSB dorm issues and I remembered that one time I met this chick at the Olive Mill Bistro bar.. I went in for a beer and enjoyed the soothing sounds of the Jock McKaba Band doing Santana songs...next thing I know I'm flirting with this Debbie gal, pretty, wholesome with nice tits...next thing I know I'm kissing her then following her to her UCSB dorm! I guess she was a student

we went up to the 3rd or 4th story and into a little room...not much there but a desk and a bed...and a window

next thing I know we're in bed, we still had our clothes on...I was trying to get into her panties as I looked out the window into the beautiful night..but she said "no"

then she says she wants to date, maybe go out a few times...I looked at her quizzically, my home run turned into a lousy single then I got up and told her not to invite strange men to her dorm because some guys aren't as nice as I am, or words to that effect..I said maybe I'd call her and she said she'd like that

but I never did.. maybe I should have..maybe we'd marry and have kids but that feeling passed like a Corvette smokin' a Prius

the election in SB was clear: Randy Rowse is mayor, Meagan beat Nina but both so pretty! and Cathy Murriloo is toast..so we'll see what happens to the city (be careful what you wish for) and don't forget the homeless, Randy, as they got nothing left to lose...

now I see that the Young Miss America Foundation is hosting black man Larry Elder who took a drubbing trying to replace Gov whatshisname...Larry will be at the Hilton, the old Fess Parker hotel, because Wendy won't allow blacks at the Reagan Ranch Center on State St

and then I see that the Q'Anon folks flocked to Dallas to await the arrival of JFK Jr. (who died in a plane crash years ago) to install himself as vice-president and reinstate Traitor Trump as president...they showed up and lined the street actually believing this would happen...with all the educational opportunities in America, this is the level of thinking among the Q'Anon cult! 

I've been watching Caltrans endless, horrific construction of a third lane on Highway 101...they've buried so much concrete and re-bar below the highway I wonder if there's any dirt left
