well I had to laugh when boozehound Mr. Wimpy/ ultra-conservative Jim Worthen hosted the Santa Barbara Forum with three retired cops as his guests...

the talk eventually got around to drunk driving and Mr. Wimpy says he used to drink alot-no surprise there-but this guy is a total crackpot and seems alcoholic but doesn't realize it..first he complains to the cops about an alcohol bias...he thinks if you've drunk 12 drinks and get pulled over for a broken tail light, the vodka fumes wafting through the car shouldn't concern the cops...the cops should just write a ticket for the broken tail light and let the drunk drive away!!

well there's no alcohol bias...this is not Prohibition....people are free to drink themselves into oblivion..but they aren't free to take me with them..ie..drive drunk!! you have a social responsibility to use your head when you're out in public and not feed your Id all the time...because I end up paying for all this infantile behavior as a taxpayer funding the trials for these idiots..my particular bias is against drinking and driving..period!!

now the Wimp admits he's been in 12 accidents but claims he wasn't drinking...then we learn he sold Palmieri's bar to his pal Robert Eringer, another blissful drunk! Worthen is a real estate broker and a shady one at that...again, the denial...a heavy drinker is affected by alcohol even if skips a drink ..the motor skills and judgement are affected...and it's guys like Mr.Wimpy who cause the insurance premiums to go up!!

but Worthen's guests, the retired cops, just kinda sat there and rolled their eyes instead of hammering him for his stupid statements about drunk driving...drunk driving is never ok and anyone who advocates for it is an idiot..

now, nobody is trying to take your bottle away...you are free to go drink and bar hop and act stupid...but when you get in a vehicle and drive inebriated...all bets are off

well thank God for some honesty from Alvin Lee...the brilliant legendary guitarist who blew everyone away at Woodstock....Goin' Home was epic and cocky and he played the heck outta that red Gibson....and Ten Years After was a fantastic blues rock and soul band...thanks to FM radio we got to listen to the less commercial stuff and what a musical trip it was...

but Alvin Lee died after complications from surgery.....ok he was 68 and how many rocknrollers live that long? still, he was one of the greats...

I went to get a brake fluid transfusion yesterday and stopped by Chik Fil A but I could not go in...it was too weird..the outside was bright red and white with more red than anything.. a big shiny new American flag stood off to the side, and the place had no customers at about 11:00 am....it looked like no people were working there..it was sterile...it looked staged and phony and culty...it creeped me out so no chicken for me...later I'll go back with a camera and do a story on the creepy aspect of Chik Fil A...bad vibes man!

the Lobero Theater is a landmark so who are these folks who want to cheapen it with wine concessions? wine tasting at the Lobero?? can't people in Santa Barbara do anything without drinking alcohol 24 hours a day?? well, I guess they can't...

an ape guy is in a battle for his life it seems according to the front page of the News-Press...he's a tree trimmer ape who doesn't like a city tree trimmer ape so they went to court and got his fine for trimming trees thrown out....it's on the front page and I guess he's the new News-Press hero...what is all the fuss?? trim the fucking trees and stop boring me, got it apes???

Disney Girls

a fantasy world of Disney girls.....

so former county supervisor Bob Kallman died and the News-Press went into mourning and Lanny Ebenstein wrote a teary good-bye in the editorial pages...apparently Kallman was an old family friend even supporting Lanny when he ran for political office...Lanny always lost all his races of course so Kallman couldn't have been as smart as Lanny claims...

I didn't know Bob Kallman so I wasn't moved much by his passing but I guess he started the Alpha place out there in that little gully way out there in the backroads of Santa Barbara

now I've spent time with alphas and they are beautiful people except for the chromosome issues, but they are brutally honest when you can engage them in conversation...but I'm thinking maybe that's why Lanny acts like a wannabe alpha to curry favor with guys like Kallman... conservative father figures...you know Lanny's daddy taught at UCSB and that's how Lanny got a job there

I met a chick from UCSB at the Olive Mill Bistro bar one night...she took me back to her dorm room and this gal had huge tits..nice but big...and she was cute and friendly..a brunette looked kinda like Annette Funicello...a Disney girl! but we get there and she takes her top off and WOW and I take my top off and we're on the teeny little bed in her teeny little dorm room, three stories up..and I'm thinking to myself..geez her tits are bigger than her miniature sized furniture! so I'm starting my moves..my instincts to be breast fed kicked in and mmmmm...kissy...mmmmm....then all of a sudden she tells me she doesn't want to have sex! I say what?? WTF? she says she wants to go out on a real date!

well I was a little disappointed because a formal date was the last thing on my sloppy sex sick mind....I was a little pissed and told her she shouldn't invite guys to her dorm from a bar, take her clothes off and then announce she wants to date them....

well I told her I'd call her and we'd go on a picnic or something...she said that sounds good...I never did call her because I think that chick was an alpha! or maybe I am..

the importance of being earnest

Tony DeNunzio trial begins in earnest...in Santa Maria...

well occasionally I read Noozhawk for a laugh or two and they had this story of Tony DeNunzio...his trial begins in Santa Maria and his lawyer is Darryl Genis and we all know what happened at Gelsons..DeNunzio got pulled over, resisted arrest and got a few bruises courtesy the SBPD...I salute Officer Tudor and the SBPD for dealing with these drunk driving sissies...


now when I was covering the Lonely Guy Peter Lance hearing of course big fat ugly biased Scott Steepleton was there for the News-Press but there were some reporter babes covering it too..and the babes I saw mostly were from Noozhawk.....Giana Magnoli and Lara Cooper....I can just imagine what Noozhawk founder Billy Mac does in his office all alone after giving Giana or Lara an employee performance evaluation! and who can blame him.....they're cute!!

but anyway, Noozhawk covered the original story about DeNunzio and painted the cop as the guilty party and DeNunzio as the poor innocent victim...and the two fluffymuffywuffies who complained about police brutality have seemingly disappeared into thin air...what were their names? I forget....

then after I warned all these yuppie jackasses not to jump to conclusions and never to interfere with an arrest, we learn that Tony Denunzio was arrested a few times for DUI and hitting his girlfriend and hitting teenagers....he was found guilty of battery...and because Denunzio can't control himself, the taxpayers are continually babysitting him..the trial in Santa Maria being the latest example...

ok, so I'm not going to travel to Santa Maria to cover the trial....I'll let the Noozhawk gals Giana and Lara do that.... and I'll be watching....hehehe

are you native? or are you non-native??

so look out the window and you'll see a bunch of little fluffy silver white parachutes blowing in the wind..oh good it's seeds...flower seeds...I can't tell for the life of me if them seeds is native or non native and I don't care because I know Spring is coming soon....all those seeds will fall on the land and flowers will spring up and some idiot will come by sooner or later and kill them with poison or something...

but I will not let that happen..not this year.. I will run in the woods and spring from the boulders like a mama lion! and protect these roadside bee motels!!

now Bruce Reed, the Botanic Garden guy who also writes for the News-Press informs me that county workers who pruned some trees "will guarantee continual maintenance over the years as new growth will continue to reach toward utility lines. It is the tree's placement that is a continuing problem".... in other words: to be continued!!

the Botanic Garden will host a little seminar in April on saving the bees..these are the same folks who approve of poisoning the landscape to get rid of roadside wildflowers deemed non-native..I may have to visit the Botanic Garden to check it out...

and I had to find out where that flurry of seeds is coming from so I went to find out and I found out...these branches are full of seed pods that are breaking apart and any disturbance will scatter the seeds to the four winds...it's awesome and nobody can stop this  dance so hurray for Nature!!

the point of all this is survival....of the fittest ..whether you're a seed or a person, adaptability is the key to survival

this alleged incident was at Carp Community Church....I went around Saturday looking for this church but couldn't find it...I went over to the church by St Joseph's Thrift store but the church in front is St. Joseph's church..duh!

I shop at the St. Joseph's Thrift store right behind the church...some of those clothes according to Christian nut Pat Robertson are spooked..second hand sweaters are supposedly touched by demons! well I don't buy the second hand sweaters, I buy the second hand panties in the bins probably worn by some cute Mexican gal..ooowww they are so soft and satiny and silky and for fun I ...well I...well, I cut them up and use them for washing my windows...

I guess he got some money from Prince Albert of Monaco...so you go to a bar, meet other barflies, get drunk and drive home..the cops catch you and you run to the News-Press for protection...what a racket!!!

LONDON -- A massive spill at a Chivas plant has sent the smell of spirits flowing through a Scottish sewer and sorrow coursing through the hearts of Scotch whisky fans.

Chivas Brothers Ltd. spokeswoman Jennifer Stevenson says the group is investigating what she described as an "accidental loss" of spirit at the company's bottling plant in Dumbarton, Scotland on Feb. 26.

She declined to estimate how much of the bulk whisky had been lost, saying only that it was less than the 18,000 liters (4,755 gallons) mentioned in media reports.

Bulk whisky can be used in various ways, and it wasn't immediately clear which Chivas brand the liquid was meant to fill....

the only place liquor belongs is poured down the sewer as a disinfectant!!

speaking of pathetic drunks, Tony DeNunzio is sucking up tax money for his trial in Santa Maria.....he's GUILTY!! why waste time...and the tried and true Darryl Genis motions to dismiss didn't work this time and have been denied...good judges up north but the crime happened in Santa Barbara so he should be on trial in Santa Barbara....

here it comes...Lanny Ebenstein's hissy fit about UCSB....

Lanny has been slipping into darkness lately, and now we have the old commies-in-liberal-UCSB claim..the teachers and professors at UCSB are all liberals so they are brainwashing the students with liberal doctrine....and this is why Obama was elected.. and of course Lanny's non profit the shady California for Public Policy came up with the "study" and The California Association of Scholars came up with another one...liberal activists balh blah blah...well that's what school should teach..how to get active in the community

I request one thing from Lanny and his pals at the News-Press..take a course in logic..I've said it before and I'll say it again..LOGIC CLARIFIES..you can use to snuff out your own nutty conclusions and therefore think more clearly....

the conspiracy theorists seem to think that public universities should be censored so that only conservative thought should be preached....well universities are not churches, thank GOD!!!

The National Association of Scholars (NAS) is a non-profit organization in the United States that opposes multiculturalism and affirmative action and seeks to counter what it considers a "liberal bias" in academia. In 2010 and 2011, its president was espousing climate contrarianism under the group's auspices, with no evident expertise in the climate science field.

The Association's officers are not answerable to its membership: according to its 2009 IRS Form 990 (Part VI Section A), the Association doesn't have members (line 6), members don't elect the officers (line 7a), and the decisions of the governing body are not subject to members' approval (line 7b). Mid-2000s IRS filings also indicate that the Association was controlled by 0 or 1 person.

now all these nonprofits are tangled up with each other...and the funds pass through one nonprofit to another....the CATO Instititute, the Heritage Foundation, the Hudson Inst and so on... these particular nonprofits promote conservatism and libertarianism, two social diseases

the report was based upon false evidence, distorted anecdotes, random online postings, and a series of terrible arguments that are fundamentally contrary to academic freedom and the idea of the university as a place for the free debate of ideas.

What the NAS calls for is a kind of a new McCarthyism, where Regents and administrators ban the use of funds for events deemed "political," force the hiring of unqualified conservative professors, and silence professors as "political" if they criticize [conservative thought] in class or stray from the preferred conservative ideology of the NAS.

the only issue I see for UCSB is why they hired an incompetent like Lanny Ebenstein..and besides, so what if professors are liberals...that's not illegal and does Lanny want to start requiring people to give their political affilations as a condition of employment??? of course the Regents should ignore the News-Press and  Lanny's antics

UCSB is a public university where young folks go to get an education... they don't need some idiot like Lanny Ebenstein trying to trip them up every step of the way....
