the facts are Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was harassed by the Tea Party for her vote of Health Care Reform..her office was vandalized, she received threats...and finally, some little crazy shit shot her and 18 other people, killing 6, including a nine year old girl in Arizona...at a public function hosted by Giffords...the media, FOX NEWS and CNN reported the Giffords was dead, but the cops said she was wounded and in surgery....nice job FOX and CNN..and later FOX blamed the government for their mistake!!

now, the gunman, Jerod Loughner, whose youtube video shouted:"let the bodies hit the floor" was tackled by Arizonians so I won't blame all of them, but with racist Gov Brewer, homophobe John McCain and the crazy Aryan immigration law, the state is not exactly a shining example of enlightenment...and it should be! it's got all the necessary requirement and power spots like the Grand Canyon, but the people..something bad has happened to the people....of course not all the people, but there is a faction of nutjobs that wants to kill the government....and there's talk that Sarah Palin's big mouth pushed this guy to shoot......the crosshairs target metaphor was stupid, but not a call to go shoot people...naw...Sarah's not out to kill people, just caribou....we don't need to stop free speech, just free access to guns in Arizona by the wrong people....this country is unprepared to deal with mental illness...the Cold Spring Bridge is a perfect example: we have Caltrans treating the symptoms of depression!!

there will always be the unhinged guy who kills for fame or glory..history is full of them...but Arizona seems to be the hub of disenchanted fringe people..mostly white and uneducated...and some crazy....there were many in the Tea Party calling for 2nd amendment solutions to elected officials who don't vote the way the fringe wants them to...and that must be looked at by the feds...more on all this later but the victims of this violence need solace...

and then there's this about the Navy captain Owen Honors producing little porny videos to boost the crew's morale on the USS Enterprise...the war against terror is a bummer so to cope these guys look at the captain's silly videos....is this what has become of America's Armed Forces: we got a bunch of pampered fratboy commissioned officers jerkin' off to keep the troops happy?? oh boy, what a mess..in a time of war, when you're serving and representing the country in uniform, this kind of stuff is unbecoming an officer...and we've had a lot of unbecoming officers in the military lately....from the scandalous Tailhook convention in Las Vegas, where dozens of women were forced to run "The Gauntlet" where they were sexually molested by out-of-control airmen.. to Dr. Laura's dumbass son's antics...the military deserves some leeway especially in times of war..but when you get paid by taxpayers to represent the United States Armed Forces, a high degree of professionalism is required..if you want to be a clown, don't join the Navy, join the circus...or start a blog...

Wendy loves non-profits!!...the News-Press had an animal editorial about Defenders of Wildlife, a nonprofit charity that Wendy gives tons of money to..and she wants you to too..too!

well, no Wendy...I will not give money to anyone who wants to return native plants and animals to their natural habitat because that means nothing...plants and animals will compete in habitats, they will thrive or die off, they will be dispersed by Nature..and the cycle repeats..the nitrogen cycle, the carbon cycle, the water cycle and the bicycle...poisoning landscapes to get rid of non-native species has unintended consequences like bees disappearing..when will they ever learn...WEEDS HAVE A NECESSARY PLACE IN NATURE!! no reason to fear or hate them!

The more I give, the more they deluge me with mail and offers of gifts. Even when I have written on the donation form to NOT send me a gift, they have sent it, so I guess they don't read what the donor wishes. It is especially the gifts and the salary of the CEO that turn me off. I will not give to this charity any longer.

It is hard to understand a CEO of a charitable organization receiving such a high salary. When you think of how many people have to contribute to make up that salary it is amazing. For example it would take 10,000 contributions of $25 or 5,000 donations of $50.

After that, I was DELUGED with glossy snail mail stuff that I'm certain cost more than my donation did, and my emails tripled. I will NEVER donate to DoW again, especially after seeing the breakdown of expenses.

it seem the Defenders spend more time on PR stuff than actually helping save wolves...Wendy uses alot of paper unnecessarily and so does DoW!!

but the latest snow job was courtesy of Michele Malkin, that little psycho Jap whose ultra conservatism borders on lunacy....and she quotes from a New York Post story that accuses union bosses of ordering a work slowdown (union bosses don't order anything unless the rank and file vote)...of course, the Post is owned by FOX nut Rupert Murdoch and is notorious for making up stories to make their enemies look bad, like the News-Press tries to do! morons!!!

now, there's good and bad in the private and public sector, but keeping a city safe in a blizzard is no easy task...the New York Sanitation and Public Works people were accused of a work slowdown because when the blizzard hit, Mayor Bloomberg was set to lay off or demote 100 supervisors who are charge of organizing the city's plowing fleet...Michele's piece tries to blame the "union thugs" for the snowstorm..the facts show otherwise...but the funny part was when she tried to compare her town of ultra-conservative anti-tax Colorado Springs with New York..she says Colorado Springs privatizes the public works and suggests New York do the same thing. First off, the population of Colorado Springs is about 400000..New York City has about 8 million people, the most populous city in America..it takes a huge work force to get things done..and they do all the dirty work and take the blame when rumors fly..so they should be paid well...but the anti-union News-Press and folks like Malkin don't understand this because they don't understand an honest day's work......the truth is Mayor Bloomberg screwed up and he's passing the buck to the workers..very typical and spineless of the wealthy class...

now, Colorado Springs has plenty of problems...it seems even Michele isn't aware her own city tried to raise property taxes because of extreme debt!!

I was reading the Montecito Journal and there she was again..this time the story was about a new high school called Providence Hall in downtown Santa Barbara..actually, it's a few years old but now boasts a student body of 95 pupils!

see, Kathy and a few of her Christian friends wanted a school where white kids could be safe so they came up with a Christian school...it's headed by David Winter, formerly of Westmont College...in an interview with MJ editor James Buckley, Winter and Elaine Rottman, Director of Advancement, said that the difference between Providence Hall and a public high school (SBHS) is the "potential to utilize values, which are difficult to teach in a public school in a multi-cultural society"..translation, there's too many minorites mixing with the white kids in public school for values to be taught..ie Christian values, ie worshiping money because excessive amounts of money used unwisely can insulate you from reality..ie all those other people!

geez..if that's not blatant racism, then I don't know what is! I thought Jesus loved everybody in our multicultural town!!
