I've come down to the conclusion that the drought is a gov't plot..controlled by Obama...and of course the unions..and I don't drink Starbucks coffee...I never will..oh I had a few cups once but once is enough...but they must lace it with EX-LAX...

Starbucks also sells bottled water..and the source of that bottled water is California! Starbucks is based in water-rich Seattle and yet they use California water as a bottled water source...

As Mother Jones pointed out late last month, Starbucks bottles water for its western U.S. customers in Merced, California, where residents are now required to cut their water use by 35 percent -- the highest percentage reduction assigned to water districts under Gov. Jerry Brown's executive order last month. Starbucks' Merced plant sources groundwater from nearby private springs and gets the water free of charge, which California typically allows businesses to do. (!!)

Starbucks launched the Ethos water brand under the banner of social responsibility, with the goal of increasing access to clean water. Starbucks contributes 5 cents from each purchase to "help support water, sanitation and hygiene education programs in water-stressed countries

 

oh that's alotta BS...they take free water from underground springs in California and sell it back to stupid conservatives!! another reason to BOYCOTT STARBUCKS...such phonies!

I went looking for Bigfoot again and saw and heard some strange sounds in the hills...something was crying out real loud...then I saw a bunch of buzzards circling...I pinched myself to see if I was still alive..yup..but I must have 9 lives!

while I whooped it up, I didn't see Bigfoot...but I did see Bigfly...this fly..or whatever it was, was the freakiest looking thing I've ever seen...a big abdomen with an anvil logo on its back..my Field Guide was useless..I thought it wasa bumblebee

I searched online ...it's a tachinid..a fly...an opportunist..a threat to monarch butterflies...a threat to every living thing and a threat to my happiness

I named it Starbuck

I'm out hiking behind Summerland..Green Acres.. and see something I ain't never seen before... a broken tree..then I see another smaller one, broken in the same way...

these trees are in a wooded area with dense brush..in a deep ravine but visible from the road, although nearly impossible for me to get to...or reach without falling about 10 or 15 feet..

the trees are broken in a pattern similar to what I saw on TV...all the shows about BIGFOOT...Survivorman is looking for Bigfoot and Les and Todd were telling tales of how Bigfoot, or Sasquatch breaks trees in a certain, defined manner, kinda split open like a peeled banana

so I pondered the trees in Summerland: who or what could have done that?

a bear? no..a man? no...a bird? no....a dog? the wind? no  Caltrans? no

I don't know..it's a mystery but all evidence points to Bigfoot...maybe vacationing in Summerland? the first ever sighting of possible evidence of Bigfoot here??!!! whatever broke the trees was big, strong and agile

it sounds silly but I do believe there is a big hairy apeman out there..I'd like to find out what he's up to...

but you heard it here first..there may be a BIGFOOT wandering the hills of Summerland...the legend is BIGFOOT lives way back in the mountains, but since we're close to the coast and I'll call this guy "Coastal Bigfoot"...

maybe here to feed on the coastal dolphins! which taste like TUNA I'm told...

oh, it's National Prayer Day so I pray for rain..one guy claims that homos have enraged God and now we are stuck with a California drought...but really who has killed more people, more men women and children..who has allowed them to be blown apart, molested, heads chopped off, knifed and shot than GOD? wich GOD?? well ,that's what all the fuss is about....

well I used to worry about the proliferation of casinos but now it's breweries..they are popping up a like a pimple on Prom Night  ...and we got little troll-bearded hipsters stumbling around pushing their "craft beer"...the latest Beer Fest is in Buellton and they got the Brew Bus ferrying drunks up to the fest...

I don't know what is wrong with these people...I just don't...but they get plenty of press in the papers..the smiling gals with nice white teeth holding a glass of beer...what they don't show is after a few craft beers, she's on her back with her legs spread waiting to be fucked..beer sluts!!

anyway, I read on EDHAT which is a rarity since their servers crash all the time, I read where the Lompoc City Council loaned some beer troll hipsters $200000 to start a brewery..in an old abandoned FORD dealership...not only do we have nonprofits asking for tax money, now we have private businesses asking for tax money...FOR BEER!!!

and with the drought, I question the wisdom of allowing another brewery, winery or other water-guzzling non-essential business to cash in on the alcohol fad plaguing cities right now...

I'm with Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger on this one..we need to start monitoring who we allow into this life... and keep out those "whose condition is known to be detrimental to the stamina of the race," and that sterilization and segregation be applied to those with incurable, hereditary disabilities...

I want you to think about that on this upcoming Mother's Day..

so Lucy over at the Santa Barbara Sentinel View has a 2-part overly dramatic essay about the cops..are they oppressors of freedom or just dedicated trained professional folks doing their jobs?

well, Santa Barbara cops are pros doing their jobs as peace keepers and baby-sitters...I cannot believe some of the people in town who have ZERO sense of personal responsibility..ZERO!! Santa Barbara has a major drinking and drug problem if you hadn't noticed

the SB cops busted the party bus where kids rent the bus and get drunk and high right in front of SBHS..the parents and schools superintendent David Cash seem clueless while Cash spends money on drug-sniffing dogs!! how about some educational programs about drugs and alcohol...

then I see two losers in the news again...Tony Denunzio was arrested again..AGAIN..for resisiting peace officer with injury..and the City of SB just shelled out a few grand to settle with this clown....THE TAXPAYERS SHOULD BE OUTRAGED!!!

and the Stinchfield family... one of them was busted for trying to smuggle drugs into prison for another family member...

these nuts are a drag on the system, on the taxpayers which is why I will happily spend money to have the cops monitor them..I am a law-abiding taxpaying citizen..a responsible adult..(most of the time).. I expect everyone to act accordingly..and when they don't, the cops will come and gather them..

of course, arresting someone does not make them guilty..but a little logical deduction goes a long way

so a big THANK-YOU to the cops for doing a splendid job of taking care of these babies!

now, I was mistaken about Westmont College being overtaken by rightwing zealots......there's a larger group of students that are quite normal and just trying to live a good life and get an education...so I'm glad Westmont is ok...overall

but there's a small faction of very confused conservative-bred kids called Young Americans for Freedom and they are the ones being overtaken by rightwing zealots..

a few searches and I find the nonprofit (give give give) Young Miss America Foundation and affiliates hosted the David Horowitz anti-Muslim propaganda thing at Westmont College...I thought it was Friday but apparently it already happened...Horowitz talks a game about bad Islam but never mentions the dangers of radical Christians who've killed so many in America...bombing abortion clinics and killing doctors and nurses..killing their family members...maybe later

the Young Americans for Freedom will concentrate on radical Islam and the threat to America..well I don't think the terrorists will find you up in God's country by Lotus Land, but I went up to Westmont just to test the security system... I went in quite easily...my God, what a cool campus! you guys are lucky to attend such a school

now look you YAF kids..you are being had..Horowitz is all about fear and not education...

the Horowitz event was free...nobody would pay to see him..he walks with a cane now...but I bet the conservative parents paid him to speak...I bet even Wendy chipped in

the YAF complained that Westmont was trying to censor them and that the campus was "overly liberal"...a YAF student named Amy Lutz...soon to be a member of the Young Miss America Foundation

the campus club the Little Republicans hosted the event, not the Westmont College Administration..and the students are at odds with each other over the politics in this social theater

things are getting so bad at the News-Press, they are printing shadowy silhouette figures instead of real people in the Out and About section, begging the readers to send in info on interesting people..real people...there are none in the weepy world of Team Wendy..Even KTYD had to give the News-Press a plug this morning..May 5th..what's up with that??? how about a little independence, KTIDE!!

the News-Press cannot be trusted!! 15000 subscribers...hmmmm..that means EDHAT has more subscribers than the News-Press..so much for the "illegals" headline supposedly adding more subs, eh Wendy

but the questions remain: is the News-Press real?? and WTF is a yeast infection??

I also noticed that the News-Press had a leg-spread in the SALON section with some half-naked chicks..one gal was tatooed and kinda ..well...ugly! not surprising-the page is edited by Scott Steepleton's wife, Charlotte Boechler...butt... I decided to drive into Santa Barbara and hangout at the Women's Public bathroom for awhile

I like it there..it's very beautiful!

then I looked out at the harbor area and I see a military boat harassing some sailboats...hmmm..didn't we learn our lesson boys?

then I see some big waves ...bigger ones are predicted thru Tuesday...

then I see what I came for..some near-naked lovely women prancing and posing at the beach..

and no tatoos hiding the skin..just  flesh...I'd like to spread some Cinco De Mayonaisse on her boobs!!

Desert Rose

I see tonight that she's alone....

well, I got tickets to the Chris Hillman/Herb Pedersen show at the Carp Plaza Playhouse Theater a while ago..I figured it would sell out...it did...

it was a really fantastic show...Hillman is of course is a musical legend having played with the Byrds, Flying Burrito Bros, Desert Rose Band and Manassas to name a few...Je suis a huge fan of the Byrds and Manassas...

Americana, roots- bluegrass- rocknroll..these guys played it all...and they influenced nearly everybody...I heard the Byrds in Illinois, then we moved to California in 1966 and..well...it's in my blood..the music, the state...

but what a great place to see a show..the old Plaza Playhouse Theater is one nonprofit that I support without hesitation...200 of us packed in and were treated to some real fine music..show started at 7:30 pm..on the dot....first with Chris and the Agape Trio...local church/gospel singers...so we got some good old time spiritual music for a half hour...Herb Pedersen joined them for a few songs...they ended with Mr. Tambourine Man!

then a 15 minute break while Chris and Herb got ready for their set...

Herb Pedersen is a great guitar player in his own right having played a duet with Emmylou Harris on "If I Could Only Win Your Love"...gorgeous song he did with Chris...Herb was with the Dillards and has lent his chops to many fine recordings over the years

Hillman is a great guitarist and superb mandolin player..they sounded so damn good partly because they had very nice expensive incredible Martin guitars that were miked instead of electrified with a pickup..it was sweet....placing the microphone in front of the guitar keeps it acoustic..oh boy that Martin 12-string that Chris played was ridiculous

and the songs were just lovely..."Desert Rose", "Hey Boys", "Bells of Rhymney"..and as they played on the crowd got really into it.... "Turn Turn Turn" and "Eight Miles High"  brought the house down..just two guys with a mandolin and a guitar..and a whole lot of talent..and a whole lot of memories and goddam it, it was emotional!!

Hillman and Pedersen closed with "It Doesn't Matter" from Chris Hillman's Manassas days..that really was awesome and made my evening...you don't know what that song means to me, but I do

thunderous applause and they came out for an encore but I was still buzzing....I left the theater and looked out at the night....
