Hot Fun in the Summertime

oh Lord!!!

I love watching the trek from the Santa Barbara Mission to Ventura...the folks pass by the King's Highway and stop at St Joseph's church for rest...dinner, vespers, tents and sleeping bags..just like summer camp!

the weather is fine, clear skies for watching the stars and the stalking moon...

Slots at the Marsh!

The King's Highway...it's where I live and the spirit ain't worth spit without a little exercise...

"Two glorious days of walking in the footsteps of St. Junipero Serra along the route of the historic and iconic El Camino Real: This year we will turn right on to Santa Claus Lane, strolling past the popular beach and beachside cafes to the recently opened new bike and pedestrian path that skirts the Carpinteria Estuary"

of course, there's controversy with Serra and the natives but is controversy not the saccharin of life? and this year, the Chumash have installed slot machines (see picture) along the path to deprive the righteous of their money..

but as ever'one knows, a fool and his money are soon parted

walk on!
