St. Elmo's Fire

Jules, y'know, honey... this isn't real. You know what it is? It's St. Elmo's Fire. Electric flashes of light that appear in dark skies out of nowhere.

Wendy, don't save all the animals cos I gotta eat too!!

fires are bad and floods are bad but lava is real bad..the lava will  eat your house and car and follow you to the beach and into the ocean and burn you alive!

last night while I was tossing and turning in the heat, there was a fire raging in the hills of Goleta due to high heat and winds..next morning I see that at leat 20 structures burned and 3200 people evacuated...

dubbed the "Holiday Fire" but only 50-80 acres burned so must be some sub-divisions up there..instant neighborhoods in fire-prone areas..too much growth and now they are using our water to put their fires out...damn conservatives just wanna build build build anywhere and everywhere

and I see the SB Wildlife Care Network didn't burn down but had some problems...some guy crashed his truck while transporting animals away from the fire, away from the center...the safe place for the fire-impacted animals was Earl Warren Showgrounds and the Humane Society...

we know that Wendy gave about a million bucks to buy the SBWCN that property in the fire-prone hills of Goleta because Wendy loves animals so I suspect they tried to save every little mouse, rat, grasshopper, rabbit or possum that roamed the hills before all the people moved in and provided fuel for the fires...

"All our raccoons are safe, and our educational raccoon Elmo is on antibiotics and recovering from smoke inhalation."

still Elmo, I don't think that was a wise investment on Wendy's part since the Wildlife Care Network was useless in a real emergency...

this stuff wouldn't happen if people knew the value of a dollar
