ok now that Cathy Murillo and her bratty sidekick Jason Dominguez are leaving the Santa Barbara City Council, the new council can fix the Cabrillo Blvd parking mess

the old version was best...you could pull over and park and have some coffee and a sandwich and watch the beach doings...then take off towards Montecito 

now you can't because they got the angled parking that is illogical...and stupid

so all they gotta do is go back to the original parking scheme or change the angle to allow drivers to pull in head-first, then back out and proceed to Montecito or Carp or Summerland

that way we can have our coffee and drink it, too..and watch the chicks play volleyball

that should be the first order of business for the new year

now don't get me wrong Mr. Radio DJ, if you're gonna play hair bands from the 1970s, play some Angel..they were discovered by KISS and were a glam-rock band that had a cult following...they looked silly but they were good!!

I traveled with Angel on a merchandizing crew after we finished the O'Jays tour, which was a blast: GET ON BOARD JOIN IN JOIN THE LOVE TRAIN LOVE TRAIN..awesome..wouldn't hurt to play some O'Jays ya know

when you do this kind of work, you get all the perks..backstage passes, mingle with the bands and roadies (loadies), good food, drink etc...but  you'll work your ass off per diem...different city every night

plus Angel were big Jimi Hendrix fans and they were way better than Guns N Roses or Poison..

mid-tour I had to fly back to LA with a big wad of cash for the boss..I'll never forget that flight..a big Delta jet with about nine people on board...we approached LA and the city lights were beautiful as the big jet down-shifted....grrrrrrrr

the Unity Shoppe business model just does not work so why do they keep pretending they are relevant? When the Unity Shoppe shut down for a month or so, the Food Bank was there to provide for those really in need, so I'll support the Food Bank, an honorable non-profit

I turn on the radio and now KTYD is playing Poison, Blondie, the Cars, Black Sabbath and other hair bands..completely over-rated and unacceptable!! the new program director has not a clue

update: now KTYD is playing cool, uncensored rocknroll!! WTF...I'm getting whiplash listening to the radio...and where would we be without the radio?? in Dire Straits
