hey the News-Press finally scooped everyone by telling us that Santa Barbara Police Chief Cam Sanchez is looking for another job in San Bernardino...or did they?? or is he??
Peter Lance wrote the story so expect tons of errors, conjecture, hearsay, drama, hysteria, and a ten part series next week....well, city employees get job offers and flyers everyday from other places: same job, different city, higher pay.... but I doubt Sanchez will leave even with Karen and Kasi-gates being played out....

Craig Smith outscooped the News-Press again and said the NLRB found Wendy guilty of union tampering..and the reporters that were targeted by her should be reinstated..I don't believe it! can you imagine the atmosphere in that place if the seasoned reporters mix it up with the Young Miss America Foundation reporters?? YIKES!!! I would pay to see that!! hopefully there will be less stories about dogs, wine and botox!! of course, Wendy will appeal the ruling which is not very appealing....

well, I was watching "Zombie Strippers" last night and I thought of Grace Dougherty ....

I found a Lee Grace Dougherty.....the sister of the brothers who are creating a calamity for the FBI...apparently Grace and her brothers went on a crime spree a la Bonnie and Clyde and finally got captured...but can you really capture a girl like Grace?? well, at least she's got two things going for her!! and it also looks like she was headed for California but got nabbed in Colorado.....damn.....so close!!

She was charged in May with multiple felonies and misdemeanors after a South Brevard traffic crash, according to court records.
"Florida Today" reports she was convicted of driving under the influence with property damage or personal injury, a first-degree misdemeanor. Other charges against her, including battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence, were dismissed.

On Lee Grace's flickr page, she describes herself as being "28 but act like I'm 17 most of the time. I love to farm and shoot guys and wreck cars. I'm a redneck and proud of it. I like milk and German engineering and causing mayhem with my siblings."
Brendon Bookman, Lee Grace's boyfriend, says she worked as a dancer at the Cheaters strip club in Cocoa Beach.

Multi-state crime spree...

The latest "mayhem" (Call ALLSTATE!!) that the siblings are accused of starting began about 7 a.m. on August 2nd. That's when an officer from the Zephyrhills Police Department tried to stop a white 2006 Subaru Impreza for speeding. An ensuing hail of gunfire -- 20 shots -- disabled the patrol car after a 5-mile chase.

Video from the police car was released Monday, showing the sedan with a New York tag of FBE5900 traveling at speeds of 100 mph.
The FBI said the three then drove northward on Interstate 75.
Just after noon Aug. 2, a similar sedan pulled up to a Certus Bank in Valdosta, Ga. -- also along Interstate 75. Three people dressed in masks and armed with an assault rifle and a machine pistol entered the bank and shot into the ceiling, an FBI statement said. They left with cash.....

so over at the Independent the publisher and editor were in court fighting over ownership..and the editor won..Mariannne Partridge forced Randy Campbell to sell his shares and leave the paper...well, the paper is pretty much entertainment and ads, so the paper part is kinda like Adweek or some such... the online version is a little more lively...I don't know where the Indie is headed, but if the rumor is true that Marianne wants Joe Cole to help her reform it, I say....whatever! too bad Randy lost out having put so much into the paper....

well, I never heard of Hobby Lobby out of Oklahoma but I read that they just gave fatboy pastor Rick Warren a 170 acre ranch, close to the Saddle Back "church" where Warren brainwashes his flock...the DOW dropped over 600 points yesterday on a credit downgrade from guy who looks like a terrorist....and investors panicked and sold which is ok..get the pussies out of the market and we'll all be fine..

the Chrisitian cult teabagger Koch Brothers are funding these anti-worker initiatives..the Kochs work through all types of shady front groups like the Cato Institute..and our boy Lanny Ebenstein is one of their cult members...his non-profit group California Center for Public Policy is trying to get an anti-worker initiative on the ballot....the CCPP has all the usual suspects as board members or advisors: Tom Watson, Joe Armendariz and some other teabaggers....

so if I can isolate these cults, I can begin the process of extermination, politically that is..and if they come up to you and start in with the Jesus talk, DO NOT look at their eyes.... and whatever you do, do not elect Michelle Bachman or Charlie president....I'll be watching.....

so the local reporters who covered the Friday Lance hearings said the day was spent discussing the Trombetta waivers and shredding documents....well while they were doing that, I was discovering that my heating element went out on the dryer.....so I ordered a new one for $26!

so Lance is pinning his hopes on the handwriting experts and wants to see the original waivers..but it appears that the cops shredded them, except one...
and here we have another conspiracy theory by Lance and Genis, his DUI lawyer..the cops destroyed evidence to protect Kasi Beutel and now Lance wants the case dismissed...

I'll have to wait until the end of August when the hearings resume..unless they settle before hand..this is what the hearings are about anyway..a settlement possiblity instead of a trial...this case is unprecedented...a DUI defendant runs to the News-Press to publish a mini-nove tell-all about the cop who arrested him....and the case gets a public opinion trial!

Lance tries to publish lots of things...he tried to write a tell-all book about the Survivor TV show, but the deal fell through...and he's mad at everyone..details later!

but the courts need not complicate things..first they should throw out all the handwriting experts since it's all opinion and not scientific...or they could hook Lance and Beutel up to a lie detector test...a device that has about as much use as tits on a nun...
now why did the cops destroy the waivers..

well, the cops didn't destroy evidence....they scanned the paper waivers and entered them into the city computers...it is after all digital age....and to reduce paper, they originals were shredded....that is standard procedure and Lance wants to change police procedures just because he got caught in a DUI?? and why is Daryll Genis so outraged? A DUI lawyer claiming he doesn't know what police procedure is on DUI matters..on DUI paperwork?? puleeze!

For decades companies have printed reams of paper that had protected patient information or private financial records and boxed them up. These boxes were then transported to a storage area within their building, or off site, and kept for seven years or longer. Every week, month and year that goes by, more and more boxes are added. With the advancement in technology, all of these boxes that contain confidential data and information can now be stored electronically, online. handwriting experts need to go the way of the lie detector test...inadmissable in court!! it's stuff from the middle ages..In a trial by ordeal, supposed witches were immersed into a vat of water or pond, and taken out after some time, thus and given the opportunity to confess. This process was usually repeated until the victim drowned or gave up and confessed, leading to them being executed in another way, usually hanging or, more rarely, burning. Also, if they had their hands/feet tied, they would be left under water. If they floated they were guilty of witchcraft, if they sank they were innocent but would have usually drowned anyway...hey maybe that's what they got planned for Kasi!!

hooking you up to a machine to see if you're lying is absurd too...and the US Military issued hand held lie detectors in 2008 to use in Iraq and Afghanistan to see if terrorists were lying to us!!

one of the things I love about Fiesta is the rodeo..the events at Earl Warren Showgrounds are always fun and a few hours on Saturday morning watching the riders rope calves...ahh..it clears my head....

so why should this year be any different? it wasn't..it was just as fun as years past and even moreso...I saw moreso people than last year..I saw some fine cowgirls..I gotta get me a cowgirl...and I will somehow...

I feel powerful today..like John Wayne in McClintock..a cattle baron..a dude..but not that kind of dude.. a few skinny creepy old white guys were looking at me funny and sitting close by....sorry partners, but this cowboy's barn door is CLOSED!! got it??? and even though John Wayne walked funny, I don't think it was because he was gay....besides, my hero has always been the Lone Ranger..although he did spend a lot of time with Tonto.....I'm confused now...

well....the day was cloudy and cool but lightened up before noon....I sit in bleacher seats..you get a great view of the arena and the action...teams of two riders try to rope a calf around the horns and around the legs..out of about 50 teams, only a few succeeded and one guy took a spill when his horse freaked out and bucked him off...it looks like the calves won the day!

and there's always some crazy ladies crying animal cruelty, although I didn't see them on Saturday..and of course, there was no cruelty at all...the arena is filled with a soft sand that that looked like a feather bed...

but the cowgirls...they're really fun to watch..they pat their horses on the rear, braid their manes.... these girls are fancy but down to earth..and I know they are conservative, every last one of them..probably can't even spell "progressive"....but that's what I love about them....life is simply defined..look at her..she's so pure..so tough yet so..so..so.....soft...

can I stay here for awhile, can I see your sweet sweet smile...old enough now to change your name, when so many love you, is it the same...it's the woman in you that makes you want to play this game....
