the local coverage of the Thomas Fire was generally excellent...KEYT, Noozhawk, EDHAT and even KTYD pitched in to help...
but the News-Press was just horrible, esp the online site which was off line most of the time..at least I kept getting "failures and errors" when trying to access...and the paper edition was days behind everyone else and where oh where were the emergency numbers?
I did see a little blurb on page 6 by Scott Steepleton complaining about the gov't..Scott was confused by the updates from the officials..why? because he's a dumbass, that's why.
the fire commanders and Sheriff Dept did excellent jobs of informing educated people....
