some judges recuse themselves from court cases...why? because they can't be partial or because they can't judge...well, if they are judges why can't they judge....

now more strange cases are the Barry Cappello (who I hear has a little Russian blood in him-czar complex) lawsuit against the City of Santa Barbra to force district elections and religious fanatic Kathrine Short's case against the City of Santa Barbra to remove a bubble zone at Planned Parenthood..Kathy's claim to fame is using her kid to protest abortions at UCSB and these folks interfere with a woman's right to go into Planned Parenthood by harassing them in the parking lot ..."DON'T KILL YOUR BABY!!!" they scream when some of the gals just want a pap smear...these religious gals got their panties in a wad over Planned Parenthood..they will lose the lawsuit

now Barry Cappello used to work for the City of Santa Barbara and had he stayed for 20 or 3O years, he'd have a nice pension and retirement..instead he got greedy, the city I think fired him and he went to work for Wendy McCuckoo as a vendetta against City Hall...now poor Barry is taking pro bobo cases for guys like Cruzito Cruz, a perennial loser of city elections who's been arrested a few times...Cruzito is a total Mexican retard and after seeing him at the courthouse get thrown out of court rooms for disruptive behavior, I figure he thinks he can win by temper tantrum...

but that is not the case..the lawsuit is a publicity stunt..claiming that they need district elections because the Cacique Street Bridge needs repairing is crazy..and the eastside around Salinas is not neglected et al..there are some cool houses and a beautiful urban forest by Mason and Salinas...I love that area at the foot of the Riviera....it appears that Barry and Cruzito have never been over there!! and if you want a bridge fixed, call the Milpas Association!! really

I see in the News-Press another columnist wanting to legalize pot..he says the New York Times editorial wants to legalize pot and so does he...and he says people should be able to live their own lives, even if they do it badly.....stoner logic

I've gone over the Santa Barbara County Taxpayer Association..these dudes are in the pocket of the Chumash and the oil companies and get free space for their propaganda from Wendy's News-Press...I mean they still got Joe Amendariz writing opinions on Sunday.....and pothead Lanny Ebenstein was or is involved in the SBCTA..which BTW is a "nonprofit"..(hehehe) well, someone is paying those guys to drive around in Mercedes!!

all I ask of the SBCTA is to lower my taxes and don't drink and drive on streets that my tax dollars support....is that too much to axe??

so now there's another tax outfit, the Central Coast Taxpayers Association out of Templeton...Templton and Fresno are two cities mistakenly put in California and actually they belong in Texas or Arizona, in the most backward conservative districts...

the oil folks want to go a little deeper and break up more earth to get to the oil..these are land-based operations and the mineral rights will pay off to the landowners...

a similar relationship happened with Greka Oil and Brooks Firestone when he was on the Board of Supervisors..ol' Brooksie was knee deep in oil spills on his property and tried to keep the regulators away while simultaneously having the County Fire crews clean up his mess at taxpayer expense...Greka as we know spilled lots of oil and the Taxpayers Ass and Brooks and Cowboy Willie tried to cover it all up....Greka even hired a member of the Taxpayer Ass to be their spokesman, Mike Stoker...Mike blamed a phantom saboteur and a political opponent for the oil leaks!! hahahah!

I went to the Rodeo to check for animal abuse but saw none.. I saw some skilled cowfolk gently and at great speed rope a calf's legs while the other roped his neck...that's takes some skill....and the ropes are LONG which lessens the impact to the calf...this is obvious if you watch it

I saw a bunch of little kids running around wearing cowboy hats...some youngsters on horses..there was no abuse anywhere, just good clean fun... apparently, even Mayor Schneider enjoys roping calves!!!
