one of the silliest and funniest editions of the News-Press was when Peter Lance was writing about his DUI arrest ...his goal was to try to shift the blame to the arresting officers so he says that Officer Beutel planted some heroin on a chick at the police station...his "proof" was some grainy photos of the booking....in reality, there was zero proof and this was more of the Peter Lance conspiracy fantasy cheered on by Darryl Genis and the News-Press...it was unethical to say the least...Team Wendy had sunk to a new low...well they did have child porn on the News-Press computers so that's as low as it gets...why are they not in jail for that???

now as I was reading the recommendations rendered by the court, Judge Honn, and I saw that word again..that word that seems like a foreign thing to the News-Press and Darryl: ETHICS...although he got off Scott-free (get it??) on the moral turpitude charge, I think we need to keep it in mind that morals and ethics are the same thang...

but this is all about ethics...

the court wants Darryl to take an ethics course.. in a State Bar ethics school and he needs to pass a test....there are certain things you can and can't do when you're a professional so it's a good idea to know what those things are as part of the educational process...an ethics requirement.. learn about ethics in the helping professions like counseling...helping people requires you don't try to mess them up on purpose or take advantage of them if they come to you for help...and always be straight with them

of course some so-called professionals are unethical so the best thing to do is file a complaint and get them out of the profession they have no business being in...

and ethics are not always cut and dried....what's unethical for one may not be for another..but once certain guidelines are established, the client and profession are protected...

so Team Wendy..it's time to start ethics training...the more you resist the less I will push and therefore you'll be knocked off balance..it's the old Buddhist trick..

well usually Darryl is dragging these things out and running to the News-Press trying to blame the cops for his clients' misbehavior....at his side is Scott twisting facts into fiction....and no one was really doing anything about it..about Darryl's unprofessional behavior..

 

well you may remember that recently Darryl has been in trouble with the State Bar..not the one that sells booze to politicians, the other one..the one that oversees professional standards among lawyers...

you may recall Darryl Genis was charged with four counts of misconduct....well the verdict is in and Darryl has been found guilty of two counts...the other two were tossed "with prejudice" whatever that means...

 

the court recommends that Darryl be suspended for two years, stayed, with two years' probation and 90 days actual suspension...

Darryl was found guilty of disobeying a court order twice on counts three and four and "his failure to accept responsibility for his actions is considered an aggraving factor" in the judgement..

the court said the respondent's (Darryl's) multiple acts of wrongdoing, bad faith and significant harm done to the administration of justice weighed heavily into the appropriate level of discipline...

geez the court document is long and full of legal-speak but the gist is pretty interesting...

all that publicity the News-Press gave Darryl when he defended that scoundrel Peter Lance came back and bit him in the ass and now Darryl has to see a psychiatrist! hey I recommended years ago that Wendy, Nipper and aribody at the News-Press seek professional help..and what do they do? they hired Dr. Laura!!

I predict Scott and Darryl will divorce after this!!!

when I was a kid I noticed the adults drank beer and smoked cigarettes Winston tastes good like a cigarette should...then in the 60s I noticed the adults drank beer and smoked cigs and also drank whiskey..and the kids started smoking pot....so having a gift for simian mimickry, I tried all these things...cigarettes, whiskey, beer and pot...I smoke two joints and that was it...I felt too weird to continue..I'd hear little birdies tweeting and see little twinkly things in my eyes

liquor was pretty good except for the headaches and puking....I liked beer except for the beer eyes, the bloodshot eyes and well beer made me sleepy..and cigarettes..I smoked them for ten years and stopped one day cold turkey...I decided around 26 years old that all this energy I was wasting to satisfy some oral compulsion, some anxiety issue was counter-productive...so I stopped everything and got a bike and rode all the issues away..well at least the issues are easier to deal with when you're healthy...

ok so there's an initiative to legalize pot..this is not good...a bunch of stoners walking around Santa Barbara is not good...we need clear headed people who aren't afraid to face reality head-on, not people who are continually seeking some artificial escape..the easy way out...

I've been reading the letters to Snoozhawk and the Independent Wine Journal and some lady is crying because Animal Control put down a cocker spaniel..but this was no ordinary cocker spaniel..I saw a picture of him and he was a ruffian, a hooligan, a cocker of ill-repute

his mother was a bitch and I heard he bit people and was tried for attempted rape of some lady..and he did rape a poodle so what else is there to do but render a verdict and kill it...and that's what the County did..they killed it....somebody has got to do the dirty work around here!!
