ok..now how can I become more green?but who can I turn to to guide me down the Primrose Lane of more greenery? well I'm generally organic and I do use less plastic bags from the grocery store since Albertson's in Carp banned them...I don't smoke so no butts anywhere from me anyway..you others who discard them on the ground wouldya just stop and think about that for a minute after you come down from your little nicotine high...

so I don't use a dryer anymore, I use the sun and it's working out really well.. I recycle when I can... I don't drive a Prius and I never will....they annoy me...you annoy me

I don't kill things unless they are about to kill me or I need to harvest them...actually, I've been this way for awhile.....being green means live and let live unless it harms or inconveniences me
ok, so there's a bunch of phony greenies out there...Heal the Ocean is a social club of washed up celebs like Elaine who all of a sudden is a water expert...Channel Keepers looks more like a sorority than an environmental group....environmentalism means you gotta get dirty sometimes...and it means you need to understand that nature gets dirty sometimes, too.. I wonder if those Channelkeeper gals wanna get dirty

ok so I'm stupid and boring..so what well at least I'm not dead...so there's a chick named Star Parker..a really nutty but pretty black girl who is super conservative and she lamented the passing of Andrew Breitbart...her column was in the News-Press and she complains that the left is trying to control everything when it clearly states in the bible that a serpent told Eve it was ok to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil..I guess this means God is the finally authority on things, not lefties!

I was sitting in my truck in Santa Barbara by the Trinity church waiting to go to the dentist when a gal pulled in front of me and tried to park..she was having trouble squeezing in, so I backed up a bit to give her more room...then she got out and it was a black chick who looked like Whitney Houston! she looked at me and I at her..then she comes walking over and starts talking to me, standing by my door..we start rapping and talking about the meter maid and then she thanks me for backing up and letting her in..then she touches my arm, smiles and walks away..DAMN...if I didn't have a toothache, I coulda had some black action last night!!!

anyway then, Star quotes from a book by a guy named Charles Murray..she slobbers over this dude..do you know who he is? he's a conservative who wrote the Bell Curve in 1994..he looked at IQ levels between blacks and whites ....there's a small group of people who do these kinds of studies..Lanny Ebenstein did a black/white study years ago....the studies are of course nonsense..simply racism based on pseudo-science...and they imply black people are genetically inferior to white people.

ok so maybe Star Parker is too stupid like me and didn't do her research before writing her column..and this Murray guy has a new book that bemoans the loss of family values among white people because they don't go to church anymore....the breakdown happened in the 1960s when I was listening to the Monkees apparently!

in reality, the American family is full of dysfunction...I've seen people running and screaming from the American family....divorce, alcoholism, suicide are just some of the perks of being in a sick nuclear American family....of being bound and obedient to a daddy figure....or a mommy figure..there's the sibling rivalry....Cain and Abel....as a matter of fact, the bible and the American family simply do not mix..

so if you have a mom and dad, and they insist you go to church every Sunday, you need to get out and on your own...you need to break away and live your own life..you need to tell your mom and dad and all your brothers and sisters to all go to hell....

if you're a publisher with lots of money and no ethics or credibility, this is the type of stuff you print...for ratings..

the News-Press keeps resurrecting the story with archives to Peter Lance's "investigative series" into his own DUI bust....Peter believes there's a conspiracy against him by the City of Santa Barbara and the DA! and the News-Press keeps trying to use Frank Sinatra as a witness..listen Pete and Scott, I got news for you, Sinatra is dead (but his music lives on!)

and if Lance was sober that night he got pulled over, I might give some of his claims some credence, but he's already admitted he blew 0.09 on Mr Wimpy's show! he's already admitted he was DUI!!!

now it's true that subscription rates are down and a Beutel story may boost things a bit, but the News-Press is in a downward spiral....as they ignore stories about their own editorial writer Lanny Ebenstein and his pot house/foreclosure issues, the bogus non-profit California Center for Public Policy headed by Lanny, the fact that ALL his anti-union measures failed to qualify for the 2012 ballot...all these issues are being ignored....and as Wendy told me once..."there's no story here".....

and that says it all..that pretty much explains the News-Press nowadays under Wendy's ownership: there's no story here

so I read in the News-Press that a judge in Santa Maria has granted a defense motion to inspect the lab where Denunzio's blood was examined for alcohol content...godammit what is wrong with these judges?? this is a total waste of time..thanks Darryl..the motion to suppress didn't work, so now we ELONGATE the trial so Genis can look at the lab...have you ever been in a lab..it gets cleaned after the work is done..there's beakers, graduated cylinders, lab coats, pipettes, autoclaves and Gooch crucibles that need cleaning....so what is Darryl looking for......maybe he left his brain in a petri dish!!

well now I get why Lanny Ebenstein keeps writing the same editorial everyday in the News-Press...all his anti-public worker initiatives failed to qualify for the ballot!
and, it appears that the folks behind the other anti-public worker reform ballot initiatives have given up...but you won't see story in the News-Press will ya??

A group that hoped to put a sweeping public employee pension reform measure on the November ballot is suspending its campaign.
"It's a sad day for pension reform in California," said Aaron McLear, spokesman for Sacramento-based California Pension Reform.
Although the group had drafted two measures that qualified for signature collection, it couldn't raise the $2 million or so needed to mount the petition effort for either one.
In November, Calfornia Pension Reform submitted a proposal to put future state and local public employees into defined contribution plans and another measure that would have shifted future workers into hybrid pensions. In January, it received the title and summary for both, intending to determine which would poll better and then shop that plan to potential campaign donors.
The language that came back from Attorney General Kamala Harris' office was worded to make it unpopular with voters, the pension reform group complained. The language was "false and misleading," it said in a press statement today.
And that made it harder to find money, McLear said.

that's a great song written by John Stewart...the guys who made it famous of course were the Monkees..now I was a fan of the guys in the 60s....it was an interesting pop phenomenon..all the guys had talent, great writers like Carole King and Neil Diamond, and a top production team with A+ studio musicians....I was a teen and in a band and my bandmates hated the Monkees instead forcing me to listen to Frank Zappa and play Captain Beefheart songs..of course nowadays I love that stuff..

but I did like the Monkees..Mike Nesmith was a great songwriter in his own write..and inherited some money from the White-Out fortune...Mickey and Peter hung out with all the biggies of the day from Hendrix to the Beatles...and then Davy Jones, the little guy from England who sang on many of the good ones..so Jones just died of a heart attack at 66...seems lots of people are dying now..just dropping...nothing unusual about dying as we all travel back and forth thru the eternities, but I think it's what they leave behind that is interesting...Davy Jones left behind a pop masterpiece with a little help from his friends....

now the next dead guy we have is Andrew Breitbart, a guy who left behind, well, nothing really remarkable..he was a conservative racist who tried to smear a woman in the Obama administration..he doctored a video and took what she said out of context to try to portray her as a racist...an anti-white black woman..

of course it wasn't true and Andy should have been ashamed of himself, but whenever he was in front of a camera, he was usually telling lies about his political opposites...

now, I happened upon Andrew Breitbart when he was the speaker at a luncheon at the Montecito Country Club a few years ago... I went in without a reservation, saw a bunch of local conservatives hanging out at the martini bar at 11:00 AM...I took some pictures..some old bitties kept eyeing me and asking me who I was....one gal at the luncheon told me that ACORN was out to kill Breitbart and she was concerned I may be an assassin!!
