talk talk (Little Red Book)

I thumbed right through my little red book I wasn't gonna sit and cry...

so what it boils down to is Wendy trying to squelch the free speech of an enemy city council member...well, two can play that game

Cathy..Wendy's nemesista!

ok I hereby formally demand, under a Public Records Request, to see emails from Santa Barbara City Councilmembers Dale Francisco and Frank Hotchkiss (assuming Frank knows how to work a computer!) for the last month...both were seen at the News-Press KKK/anti-gov't rally..Dale was wearing a stupid looking fedora hat and Frank was just stupid looking...I wanna see them emails boys....you got two weeks to hand 'em over

Dandy Dale!

but you really gottta be desperate to run to FOX NEWS to tell your story...

but that's what Scott Simpleton did! went on the weekend version of Fox and Friends...it was reported that Scott was invited by his idol Bill O'Reilly but declined because every time someone mentions Bill's name, Scott pees himself....so he opted to tell his story to Tucker Carlson, the boyish fellow with a twinkle in his eye and much more to Scott's liking!

Frank!!

so Scott tells Tucker that the News-Press "touched a nerve across this nation"..and it's true there were a few letters to the editor...some from Washington, one from Georgia and even one South Carolina...and they said they were subscribing! haah...I told ya this as all designed to get the subscriptions up by appealing to the worst of human nature..the racists!

"against the blacks" Scott??? hahaha

so here's the interview from a FOX News Blog-
Another more recent front-page article that featured the word "illegals" was written by Scott Steepleton, the city editor at News-Press.

Steepleton asserted on "Fox and Friends Weekend" this morning that the newspaper used an appropriate term to describe people who are living in the country illegally.

He added that News-Press has used the word "illegals" for at least 10 years and they are standing by their choice of language.

"We don't believe in capitulating to people who are going to tell us how to run our newspaper," Steepleton said. "We don't ask people what we should write beforehand and we're not going to ask people what we should write beforehand going forward."

He said he believes that many other newspapers and editors have changed their language due to pressure from the public.

"We are a private business in the United States of America in the state of California and we are choosing to run ourselves the way we see fit," Steepleton stated.

"I think the fact that people across the country have subscribed to our paper online, through NewsPress.com after this thing has erupted, shows that we are touching a nerve across this country, that people are sick and tired of a lawlessness everywhere in the United States."

http://insider.foxnews.com/2015/01/24/we-are-touching-nerve-across-country-santa-barbara-news-press-stands-word-illegals

now this is just silly...FOX and Friends?? touched a nerve?? lawlessness everywhere in the USA? what about the child porn on the News-Press computers..or Scott and the News-Press protecting drunk drivers..or the News-Press breaking labor laws??? shit, and all the drugs passing through Team Wendy...

oh Wendy!!!

All I did was talk about you
Hear your name and I'd start to cry
There's just no getting over you, oh, no

Oh for balance the News Press could do a real story and just walk across the street to coucil member Rowses cafe de paradise and ask to see the employment records of every dishwasher and bussboy pre and post the Reagan amnesty. They could also check the immigration records of the downtown organization clean up crew. Publish the findings during the SBIFF.

Thanks for the link, Mick. My first chuckle of the day. Why didn't Don Katich do the interview?

What some of the world's wealthy do with their resources:

Margaret A. Cargill: The Anne Ray Charitable Trust and Margaret A. Cargill Foundation to support the arts, the environment, disaster relief, and other causes.

William S. Dietrich II: The Dietrich Foundation, which will largely benefit western Pennsylvania nonprofits, colleges, and universities.

Michael R. Bloomberg: Support the arts, human services, public affairs, and other causes.

Sara Miller McCune :Funds schools in the developing world, contributes to California organizations and educational establishments

Millard and Linda Fuller: Habitat for Humanity

Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett, to commit at least half their wealth to charity and aid to Africa

Wendy P. McCaw: Devotes fortune to stirring up trouble for Latino woman who has won a spot on local city council ... for using envelopes.

This will be your legacy, Wendy.

They're really pushing that lie because they know it's a lie. That was obviously fed to the stooge to repeat to cover the non-appearing news director's ass. Mr. White Beard should wise up and realize he's being set up as the fall guy. To make amends with the community, now only one head has to roll. Guess who, simpleton? As far a wrongly using city envelopes, someone should mention the writer who got canned from a large Los Angeles newspaper lying about his relationship with his wife to get her promoted.

Remember the St. Louis, turned away from Cuba, the U.S. and Canada in 1939 because its passengers were ``illegals?" I mean let's call them what they were, right - "Illegals" trying to enter the U.S. illegally. Don't try and stomp on my first amendment rights. They were "illegals." The News-Press would surely have no compunction about referring to the 937 people aboard who tried to enter the U.S. illegally as "illegals." Never mind the fact that the ship was forced to return to Europe after 22 non-Jewish passengers were allowed to disembark in Cuba. And never mind that 1/4 of the remaining passengers were rounded up by the Nazis and killed in concentration camps. They were "illegals" and had no right to amnesty from U.S. laws. Right Don? Scott? Artie? Wendy? Tucker?

Don Katich probably refrained from doing the interview because he's working on replacing his quickly vanishing staff! Staff members are running out the door faster than anyone can catch them! Since the union left the News Mess, the paper has experienced a near 100% turnover of their long-term staff. The latest staff member to flee, Business Reporter Steve Sinovic, was there for at least five or six years. The word is that he's been trying to escape for awhile. Besides management, there are only a couple of staff members who have been with the paper for more than a year or two. While the management continues to spend their limited time and resources on witch hunts, the adolescent staff members are left to keep recycling their daily drivel.

There are NOTHING but intern writers left at that paper. The paper the people are actually PAYING for. That paper is unravelling into nothing. Someone who worked there told me it's the management's fault. They said: "As much I as can't stand Wendy McCaw, I almost feel sorry for her that D__ K___ is managing her multimillion dollar investment." People quit and he keeps them on the masthead to make the staff look bigger.

I wonder if Scott Steepleton — whose bylined stories have been appearing on Fox News Web sites — is trying to wangle himself an on-air job or some other position with Fox News. The Team Wendy members who don't get fired eventually move on — the smart ones do so quietly.
