smiling faces

smiling faces sometimes, they don't tell the truth
Smiling faces, smiling faces tell lies
And I got proof (Oh Lord Yea)

well, I 've been trying to piece this case together..this civil case against the Santa Barbara Unified School District and San Marcos High School and its principal..the plaintiffs are two folks who run Smiling Faces Youth Program....Edward R Gularte and Emily Gularte....it's some sort of liability claim...

Liability Claim (Government Code §54956.95)
Claimants: Smiling Faces Youth Program
Edward R. Gularte III
Emily Gularte
Agency Claimed Against: Santa Barbara Unified School District

Beware...
a smile is a frown turned upside down

ok lawsuits are like apple pies...everyone is cooking one up! I could find next to nothing about the Smiling Faces Youth program, but I did find something on the people involved..this is from 2008, a rather unsavory episode in Utah where these folks were arrested for drugs, child endangerment, firearms....are they they same people?? a logical deduction perhaps

Friday, 13 June 2008 13:21 On June 11, 2008, members of the Millard County Sheriff’s Office, Central Utah Narcotics Task Force and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms served a search warrant on a residence located at 171 E. Main Street in Leamington, Utah, which resulted in the arrest of three adult suspects. Four children at the home were turned over to the Division of Child and Family Services.

The search warrant was served as a result of an investigation by the Millard County Sheriff’s Office who had obtained information that the adults living in that residence may be in possession of narcotics and illegal possession of firearms.

The residents of the home, Edward Gularte and Emily Gularte had left the home before the search warrant was served, but they were stopped a short time later away from the home and arrested.
A visitor to the home, Raymond Carroll, was arrested at the home as he was taking care of the juveniles while the Gulartes were gone.

Booked into the Millard County Jail were:
Edward Raymond Gularte, 29 years of age from Santa Barbara, California:
(1) Possession of a Firearm by Restricted Person, Second degree Felony
(2) Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Third degree Felony
(3) Possession of Marijuana, Class A Misdemeanor
(4) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor.

Emily Ann Gularte, 30 years of age from Santa Barbara, California:
(1) Supplying Firearm to Restricted Person, Third degree Felony
(2) Possession of Marijuana, Class A Misdemeanor
(3) Possession of Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor

Raymond P. Carroll, 30 years of age, from Santa Barbara, California:
(1) Possession of a Controlled Substance, Third degree Felony
(2) Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Third degree Felony
(3) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Third degree Felony
(4) Possession of Marijuana, Class B Misdemeanor
(5) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Class B Misdemeanor
(6) Failure to Register as Sex Offender, Class A Misdemeanor

Don't let the handshake and a smile fool ya
Take my advice I'm only tryin to school ya

now this ain't Utah, it's Santa Barbara and I don't know WTF happened.... but why did these Gulartes let a sex offender watch children while they were gone???

I just found out that on, Oct 1st 2001 he served only a year and a half in utah due to the homicide that he commited on his 2yr old son. I showed that the child had 60old bruises and it showed that a adult fist punched him in the obdimen. Edward R. Gularte admitted to the homicide. Why are they out free on the street? him and his wife need to pay for what they did.
