now I've been a fan of Cher since Sonny and Cher...I used to fall asleep as a kid listening to the little red transistor radio under my pillow...two songs kept playing..."The Beat Goes On" and "For What It's Worth"...those aren't silly love songs....it's politics wrapped in nice little spooky tunes... love those songs to this day....
witchy reported on May 13 that Cher took to Twitter to call out Republicans for their exhaustive and fruitless investigation of the terror attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya last year. The "Believe" singer labeled the ongoing investigation by the U.S. House of Representatives a "witch hunt." Cher is one of the most active celebrities on Twitter and has shown no fear of expressing her opinions on the public forum.
like I said before, America can't protect you if you choose to live in Benghazi, Beirut or Missouri..there's lots of crazy folks out there who want to kill you....when Reagan was president, 200 American soldiers were attacked and killed in Beirut...I was in Beirut once and got shot in the arm by some jumpy gendarme, mistaken for a terrorist....Beirut was crumbling, stone by stone, so I left and so did Reagan....got America the hell outta there...
so the "investigation" of the Benghazi attack that killed 4 American diplomats is over and there was no cover-up by the Obama Administration no matter how hard guys like Darryl Issa wish and hope....Cher was right, it was a GOP political witchhunt, led by the FOX NEWS tabloid cheesy bobbleheads

now me, I'm not above a good witch hunt now and then and remember the Pig Woman from Tennessee, the witch Elizabeth Lauten- GOP communcations director- who lectured Obama's daughters about being classy? it appears she has quite a past... a boozer and she was busted for shopliftting at 17 but the cops didn't kill her because she was white...geez, and you thought I was a slut! Lizzy's way sluttier than me...
