as tears go by

it is the evening of the day....

now all the stories in the News-Press about the Mallory Dies payout..the tears, the heart-felt concern..well, I don't buy it...the News-Press is in this for the politics...

so where were these people before Mallory Dies was hit and killed by a drunk driver Raymond Morua? where were they?

was Matt Dies out there warning folks about DUIs? how about the News-Press? or Peter Lance who is mentioned often in Scott Steepleton's stories about Mallory..and the latest is when the feds read Peter Lance's depiction of the Raymond Morua/Mallory Dies story, they immediately offered a 7 figure settlement sum and some hugs to the Dies

assistant US ATTY Julie Zatz did...she handles civil cases and doles out the money... she has a history of giving out million dollar settlements without admitting any liability
https://freedomlawschool.wordpress.com/tag/alan-brown/

The $1.34 million check was the result of a settlement between the Browns and the government in Alan Brown, et al. v. United States, a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) suit the couple filed three years ago in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Julie Zatz, an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles who handled the FTCA civil suit after the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas recused itself, says the government did not admit any liability in settling the case

now the biggest issue here is the News-Press and Lance, partners in crime, trying to look all anti-DUI..Nipper is a big booze peddler.. Steepleton's the stories about cocktails are endless...the drug use by Team Wendy members..from Travis's DUI to Lanny's pothouse...to Nipper's kid's death and heroin use...Peter Lance's DUI bust and his cowardly attempt to wiggle out of any responsibility..he blamed the SB Police and wrote about his DUI in the News-Press...

let's check some headlines from the past and see the pro-DUI and anti-cop sentiment from the News-Press and Team Wendy, mostly from Lance trying to squirm out of his DUI....and blaming the cops who arrested him....but today, the News-Press is all anti-DUI???

oh this is nonsense...they only way to clean all this up is to change the law....don't drink and drive..any alcohol because alcohol is an intoxicant....

Scott and Pete blame the cops for Pete's DUI!!

so Julie Zatz is on my radar...

and this law that allows people to drink and drive...drop the BAC to ZERO...let's make it easier for cops to bust drunks..and collect money from them...

my New Year's resolutions for 2015 will be to start dealing with these people....and you don't wanna miss it!!

The denunzio case started out as a dui, but that was lost in the theatrics. Good campaign; Zero Tolerance Unless Zero Intoxicant.

The News-Press' intrepid reporters and news editors aren't in it for the politics or the sensationalism, they're in it because it's easier to write the same story 50 times then it is to come up with one NEW story for the readers. And since the police and politicians won't talk to the News Press because the editors don't have the brains for backbone to say no to Wendy or Peter Lance, they're forced to run the same stories over and over and fight battles for the losers who WILL talk to the paper. Steepleton should get a job writing soap operas for Telemundo, that way he can completely dispense with things like investigation and facts - -and it's what he's doing anyway with his weepy, tabloid crap. I heard he was about to be canned by Jerry Roberts before the NP meltdown. No wonder he hopped up on his hind legs and accept Wendy McCreepy's offer to run her rag.

The News-Press is so hypocritical! They pretend to be so anti-drinking and driving, but, in fact, they've turned a blind eye in the past to a number of their own employees who were guilty of this. They used to have a night reporter several years ago who showed up at functions drunk, grabbed bottles of wine to take back to work with him (if they were given out free at functions) and, on at least one occasion, peeled out of the N-P parking lot totally lit. They also had a former assistant city editor a few years back who spent more time at the Press Room (a local bar) during his shift than at work. He had a DUI on his record when he was hired, and he also frequently drove home totally plastered. I wonder if the N-P would have taken the blame - and liability - if either of these men would have killed anyone while drinking and driving? Do you even need to ask?

Why is the mediator not identified? We paid him and it must be in court records. SBNP reporting comes with bias.

Third anonymous commenter: You made at least one provably false and potentially damaging accusation against an identifiable non-public figure. The comment should be taken down.

Mr Anonymous #5: I decide what comments go, not you..
Mr Anonymous #3: you mention no names, that is very smart
Mr Anonymous #1: Denunzio is a loser!

I am Mr. Anonymous # 3. Everything I wrote about the NP is 100% true. I can't say how I know without giving away my identity - which I will not do. But the facts are indisputable. In fact, if Mick Von Caw wants the names of these individuals, I will send them to him - without revealing my identity.

Before Wendy fired many of her staff for union organizing, the News-Press one year held its company holiday party at El Paseo. Guests were each given four drink tickets. Newsroom folks left many of their tickets behind, unused. Some had to go back to work, others wanted to get home safely.

I know who the fuck you are and who you are referring to and I say you are a fucking liar. A bald-headed Florida-dwelling former Scott Steepleton lackey liar. Commit one more slander and you will be sued, shit fuck. You've made provably false statements and this is the second time someone has used these pages to falsely accuse someone of a DUI conviction. Why you letting this shit happen, MVC?
