the rightwing WAR against working Americans

living by the highway I see some weird things, some bloody things...Sunday, I see two guys carrying an American flag, walking down the road...then I heard a big screech and saw a bunch of dirt flying..so I go out and see a car had spun out into the shoulder and turned almost all the way around.. north bound lane.. no driver in sight...I called the cops and they arrived in five minutes...cops...these are the folks the rightwingers are waging war against!! and whoever crashed that car should most assuredly have a "crash tax" levied against him, right Tony Strickland??

now, Bill O'Reilly says: According to the U.S. Department of Education, two-thirds of the eighth graders in Wisconsin cannot read proficiently. But assuming the kids are skilled enough to watch TV, they can now see their teachers demonstrating to keep their generous union benefits.
of course Bill cherry picked this inaccurate story to go after unions.....this is how he started his anti-union column on Sunday..picking on school kids to make a point that teachers don't deserve collective bargaining....Bill O'Reilly, the guy who couldn't explain the moon's affect on the tides...saying that God caused it...."I’ll tell you why [religion is] not a scam, in my opinion," he told Silverman. "Tide goes in, tide goes out. Never a miscommunication. You can’t explain that. You can’t explain why the tide goes in."

ok..so that's Bill....one of the many hyper-conservatives going after working class rights...all these folks have something in common..a higher power..Bill's got Rupert; Lanny Ebenstein's got Wendy; Scott Walker's got the Koch Bros....I'll be tracking Lanny's anti-worker efforts very closely in the future...very closely!!

but that's the pattern...the pampered privileged class wants to keep the blue collar middle class worker down...not for budgets..that's been proven..but really for power..and it's been backfiring on them as protests around the country grow and some Republicans start to question the wisdom of demonizing cops, nurses, teachers and firefighter..ie union thugs!!

The National Assessment of Educational Progress explains its student rating system as follows: "Basic denotes partial mastery of prerequisite knowledge and skills that are fundamental for proficient work at each grade. Proficient represents solid academic performance. Students reaching this level have demonstrated competency over challenging subject matter. Advanced represents superior performance."

ok, I gotta agree with the Teabaggers on this one: get rid of the Dept of Education..if their rating system is so biased against kids, it is useless to them..first of all, you can't "paritally master" anything..it's either mastery or not... meaning you need to spend long hours and years to master something..most people don't!

stop picking on the kids..they are fine..instead focus on the idiot adults who can't explain the tides other than to say God did it...and these are the folks who want to solve budget issues by protecting the rich..the rich have been protected for too long...
