the Dept of Fish and Game and the Center for Biological Diversity have teamed up to.. heh heh heh.. fuck with Santa Barbara a little bit....not that I didn't warn you all about these non- profit ecofascists..now they got the gov't feeding them your tax money!!and they want to extend the Snowy Plover "protection" from East beach to West beach....the big goal being to cut off beach access in California to human activity except for the rangers in Boy Scout outfits and ecofascistbiohippies wearing ponytails!!
they will flood the beaches with ecofascistbiohippies wearing ponytails and they will rip out all non native plants, even going so far as to try and stop eel grass from growing in the ocean!! these are red flags big enough to stop an Indy 500 race!!First of all, the Center for Biological Diversity, which Wendy supports with big cash donations, is about as credible as the Nature Con...servancy....these agencies have spent billions trying to make nature conform to their visions of what California should be...the result of their native-only thinking is everywhere...scatter-brained ideas, unholy alliances with BP Oil polluter, dead animals, harassed animals, over-protected animals, poisoned habitats....all to keep the grant money coming in....that's money and resources wasted up and down the coast.....they've even pulled gov't agencies in on the fun.....CALTRANS being the biggest suckers....just look at what Caltrans has done...they've spent time trying to restore the landscaping along Highway 101...they put in expensive irrigation lines, many are leaking...have been leaking for weeks and CALTRANS does nothing except spray poison on the weeds...and weeds being weeds, they always grow back!!
CALTRANS has taken their eyes off the ball...FIX THE ROADS, NOT THE NITROGEN!!! all landscape projects, except minor maintenance should be stopped!
I don't mind some reasonable protections for plovers or other wild things but these folks, the ecomaniacs, are out of control....
the City of Santa Barbara needs to stop this plover protection plan because the plover does need protection down here ...do you know why? because the Snowy Plover belongs in the snow, not the sand! that's why he's called "Snowy"..duh..ship them back to Alaska where he'll be happier....see, I'm all about solutions...
and it's long past time to expose these folks pushing the pseudoscience of bionativism..but it's gonna be hard because the city itself has bought into it...remaking creeks, paying Jill Z too much money for over-thinking trails....Jill Z: "let's see..hmmmm... this trail points south, will it get enough sun so the native plants can grow or do we have to spend $120000 to put in a bioswale, a separate irrigation system or get some trail gnomes to help us reroute it...hmmmm...let's see..what shall we do......"
these folks are crazy!!! they're insane!! they're evil!!! look into their eyes and you'll see....pretty vacant
the Channel Islands madness has spread to the coast and if these bio- crackheads continue their absurd addictive pursuits , you won't be able to walk on the beach, or the grass, or swim in the water, or fish on the beach, or enjoy boating or other ocean recreation....is that what you want???
