three bells

all the chapel bells were ringing....in the little valley town

ring....
crime..it's everywhere.. so I decided this Sunday to look at Carp and Montecito to see what the folks is up to...AEIOU.. I hit the jackpot!! lookit some of these addresses because it seems that we have drugs, DUI, theft, vandalism, assaults happening right in my back yard!!

I'm certain if you put a face on all these crimes, it would be very entertaining, but all the IDs are blocked..ok, that's fine..but I'm starting to get a picture why the rich conservatives don't want the cops to do their jobs...it's so they, the richey-riches of the world, can continue to break the law while the rest of us abide! this dude abides but who do they think they are, anyway?
while the media wants to lull you into thinking that the cops, the homeless and the Mexicans are committing all the crimes, it is evident that white punks are mostly responsible for local crime, so of course their mommies and daddies scapegoat the pigs, the bums and the beaners....

at Park Place over by Birnam Wood, we had a drunk issue...I used to deliver the News-Press to Joe Walsh and Burl Ives who lived on Park Place and Buena Vista years ago...that's as close to rocknroll stardom I ever got!

but the addresses that are intriguing to me are 1482 East Valley Road, 1267 Channel Drive and Ocean Oaks behind me in the foothills....we got theft, drugs, vandalism, DUI, assaults coming from these places

dingdong....
so I went to check it out....first of all it's later than it seems thanks to daylight savings time; next I see the gas prices went up from $4.39 last week to $4.41..oh, that little two cents is really gonna help the big oil companies who are fixing prices and gouging us..why aren't they taxed and regulated? that's for another day...so off I go to see about Montecito's crime wave..
first I see the Ocean Oaks place is a beverage distributing company and there was an assault there..thats' odd... this is a residential neighborhood...but anyway, hitting people never solves anything unless they hit you first, then you can wup their ass!!

next I go down East Valley to 1482 where the drugs vandals and other crimes have been happening since 2009..oh, it's the little shopping center at the upper village..Tecelote bookshop is here, some banks, a hardware store...it's where I met Wendy and Nipper on that fateful day during Wayne Pacelle's book signing party! well, somewhere in this area we got drugs, vandalism and theft....geez....how about trying some work..cut lawns and teach your kids a work ethic...too many trustfund airheads have moved here...but one thing about Montecito, the old guard is still here and in spring the place smells like a flowery heaven all the way up to Mountain Drive...I love it!

now down to the beach..Butterfly Beach and 1267 Channel Drive..I park it and walk around Ty Warner's place, but he's on Fairway Drive...cool entrance Ty! big stone pillars and fire burning lanterns...this place is really awesome actually..maybe I was wrong about Ty....he did a pretty nice job up here and it still has the old Montecito feel..but maybe a little more upper crusty now...

so I go down the old beach road and it's hard to find numbers on the properties ... Channel Drive is too cool for numbers so I assume 1267 is around the Biltmore or Coral Casino....maybe some hotel guests got rowdy! ooowwww, nice Ford GT....

ring
so over to the Miramar I go...man what a different vibe just a few blocks away by Danielson Road...this is funky old Montecito and the Miramar is one nice property even though the hotel is boarded up...I think Caruso is right when he says the nimbys like Julia Louise Dreyfus who married the pastor's son and all those phony church people slowed the construction down with crazy demands and pouty concerns...love thy neighbor? only if he's not building a hotel next door!

had the church shut up the Miramar would have been built by now...so now the taxpayers gotta pay up again....and it's just too bad all these old cottages will be razed....
way to go Elaine!
