so I'm watching the baseball games..the wildcard teams are battling it out..the Red Sox look like they're gonna make it..they hold a slim lead over the lowly Orioles.....the Rays are getting beat by the Yankees 7-0 .....then it rains in Baltimore...a rain delay...ok no problem...
then things get wild..the Rays start adding runs late and finally tie the Yanks, forcing extra innings..ok, so tthe Red Sox may have to play them in a one game playoff Thursday....the Sox should have no trouble beating the 63 -80 Orioles, should they...I mean they got a few 143 million dollar men, so they'll win..
but no, they didn't win, they choked..again... I can't believe it..the Rays come back from a 7 run deficit and beat the Yankees and the Red Sox lose in the ninth to the Orioles...I thank the O's for puttingt he Red Sox out of their misery..heads are gonna roll next year..that Carl Crawford dude sucks, is pulling in a huge contract, and he can't hit or play left field!! and I can't see Francona coming back for another seasson..or a few of those guys who are fat and old....
the Rays never gave up and found ways to win...they remind me of the 1994 Red Sox!
now, the Lance DUI hearing continues on Friday...there's lots of speculation as to what will happen, lots of smoke and mirrors coming from the Lance defense...but how can you defend a 0.09 DUI? a three martini joy ride in the middle of the night??
here's a rough clip of Lance with his tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth, admitting he blew a 0.09 but was not "drunk"...
if the judge sees it, he can skip the trial and send Lance to rehab and save the taxpayers some money..
