yesterday I went to the courthouse and forgot to put up this picture of this chick..watch her walk..so everyone knows about the hackers at the defunct News of the World... and Rupert Murdoch's other slimey publishing enterprises....well I was watching the Mr. Wimpy Show (Worthen One on One) and he had recurring guest Robert Eringer on...you've heard of Eringer and his problems with the Prince of Monaco..actually the story is pretty interesting, but his comments on Michael's brother Joel Douglas made my ears ring...
Eringer said he worked with News of the World at one time and said that Rupert Murdoch pulled a nasty story about Joel Douglas...it's a bit convoluted but Joel is
Michael's brother..Michael is Wendy McCaw's friend..and Wendy loves Rupert Murdoch because he's a slimeball like her!Eringer kept blasting Rupert while Mr. Wimpy kept professing his love and admiration for Ruppie!!
I guess Rupert wanted to protect another crook who happened to be the brother of Michael Douglas and son of Kirk Douglas... supposedly Joel Douglas who's a movie producer made a bunch of shady Hollywood deals and scammed investors with a guy named Jon Emr...I found a book and some old stories that highlight what Eringer was talking about...geez..drugs, murder, scams...private investigators...
Ex-Bodyguard Sought in Slaying of Film Producer : Murder: The victim's son and father also were killed. Authorities believe the motive was revenge over a salary dispute.

The slayings of a movie producer and his son and father allegedly were carried out by the executive's former bodyguard in apparent retribution after he received only $10,000 of his $30,000 salary, authorities announced Monday.
The suspect--identified as Robert Michael Suggs, also known as Robert Michael Allen, 31, who has worked as a private investigator in Arizona, Washington and Nevada--remained at large and was the object of an interstate manhunt, Culver City Police Chief Ted Cooke said. Suggs' former girlfriend, Susan Lynn Calkins, 20, who lived with him in Hermosa Beach, was also being sought.
Suggs was employed as a bodyguard for two years by Roland Emr, an executive with GMT Studio in Culver City, Detective Steven Yoshida said. Emr, 45, of Torrance, and his son, Roger Jon Emr Jr., 20, of Torrance, were gunned down Thursday as they sat in their car at Sepulveda Boulevard and Slauson Avenue in Culver City.
Arthur Charles Emr Sr., 71, Roland Emr's father, was found shot to death in his home in Paradise Valley, Ariz., on Friday.
Roland Emr had promised to pay Suggs $30,000 for his services as a bodyguard, but paid him only $10,000, police said.
"Since the money didn't come through, Suggs went bankrupt and he blamed it on Emr," Yoshida said.
The same type of weapon, a .22-caliber semiautomatic pistol, was used in the three murders, Yoshida said.
Investigators were also looking into the possibility that Suggs may have been hired by a number of film and business investors who were swindled out of millions of dollars by Roland Emr over several years.
Emr, according to police, had obtained the rights to produce a number of movies, including one about James Dean.
Emr and his son were able to lure investors for the projects but none of the films were ever made.

now I don't know who's telling the truth, but the Douglas family has loads of drug problems and it seems feasible that some of the Douglas guys would go for the easy money and blowing it on drugs...whatever happened, I don't know and why they keep honoring these guys at film festivals...if you look below the surface, they are a pretty creepy bunch....and it seems drug abuse is a common theme among Team Wendy members! will we see murder next??

It's all true. The mother of Jon R. Emr just died this past year in Scottdale, AZ. She survied the shootings, but she was very instrumental in grooming her son Jon to become what he was, originally a potially bright kid with some talent, albiet a weakling, spoiled and codled to a bully and a con man; starving her husband to near death before the murders, almost getting the other son and family killed in Jon's place. Kirk and Michael worked hard to get and stay where they were and they are now. Can't take that from them. There are always black sheep in any family that stray. Kirk was original proud of Joel and Jon's efforts with their first movie attempts. He was finally cutting his teeth. Somewhere, something just went wrong with drugs and alcohol. No dougt Jon played a role in that. Joel literally dodged a bullet when Suggs went nuts killing even his dog, and he himself was murdered in the desert...the duffle bag was found zipped with the gun inside. The legitmate side of Jon Emr's family distanced themselves years before, and after, when they too saw the damage being done others and potential danger. Ruined legitmate careers and lives all around. They just didn't have the resources or Murdock connections to sue or stop Lurie (and others) the bottom feeders with no real talent. No better than those whom he wrote about. Really very sad and much like many of the no talent cling-on known for nothing celeb's today.
Interesting, at best, GMT was warned about EMR as a con man and scam artist. Bilked millions out of a few wealthy Texans. The detective Yoshida was previously fired from Redondo Beach PD for lying and stealing, odd thing is he was arrested by Scott Barnes author of BOHICA, and EMR tried to have him killed by Suggs, but instead Emr and family got hit. Sweet justice. A crooked fired detective later hired by Culver City gets the case so you know the truth will never be known.
This is a story that has haunted me since it occurred. I was literally one of the last people to see Emr alive and was supposed to be in the vehicle going to an early dinner with a potential investor. My partner at the time had become wrapped up with Emr and when I arrived in LA, he immediately set a meeting. I was amazed at the brazen cockiness of Emr, who kept a loaded gun in a quick draw fanny pack on his desk. When I asked him why, he said that to his friends he was god and to his enemies he was the devil himself. Over 10 days I met with Emr a couple of times and he introduced Hague who had the Dean project. They bragged that the next big thing with be the marketing of Dean Jeans. They repeatedly talked about their relationship with Douglas on a couple of occasions when we met. Had it not been for a transcript that was given to me about a Tom Brokaw exposee on Emr and the Bobby Garwood story, I would have been in the car. When I went to his office at GMT we I asked him what he thought of Brokaw and he flew right off the handle. We threw the F Bomb back and forth 50 times as he led me through the office and out the door. 30 Minutes later he was dead. Worse than him though was the mother Renee. She was in Police Protection and called my hotel a couple of days later requesting that I transfer $200K to her so that we could continue to look for investors for a project. Over the course of a couple weeks she called half a dozen times. Her son and grandson weren't even cold in the ground, the story was lit up like a Christmas tree in the press and she was still playing the con. I will be forever grateful to the guy from Fries Entertainment who gave me the heads up on Emr and a transcript of the Brokaw report.
Interesting note : As it turned out the Studio (GMT) was also a front Studio for two US Intelligence Agencies and used in several Covert Operations, much like "ARGO" was in rescuing US Citizens from Iran. GMT Studios was used as a "Front" for several Missions, one was into the Iran-Contra Scandal the other was and still is CLASSIFIED, but used to funnel Dark Monies, Gold, Diamonds and Weapons in and out of various foreign operations all ran by the " ISA" Unit under the auspicious of the CIA's "Black Ops"

The Grandmother may have been rotten, the father Roland a con man. But the Grandson/son Jon R Emr Jr was the biggest victim. He was truly a good and pure hearted guy. He told me a thousand times he didn’t want to be like his family. He never did drugs hell he didn’t even drink. He was the guy that if a man was screaming a woman and hit her to step in (literally watched him do that at a Depeche Mode Concert at ASU) oh and driver her home safely. He was all heart. I assume it’s easy to shit all over the family if you have been wronged I totally get it, Jon was not his family he was so much more. Just thought that at least this one person got the right description.
