I left my heart

in San Francisco

well when I think of Tony Bennett, I think of that crooner who sang a duet with Amy Winehouse...poor Amy...so young and talented and boozed herself to death...

when I think of Michelle Malkin, I think of that Chinese masseuse in San Francisco I met while I was attending a prison seminar on Alcatraz island

but there's another Tony Bennett.. a guy I heard about from Michelle of all people...Michelle is generally a shill for FOX News, conservatives and teabaggers and always is anti-Obama with wild gov't conspiracy theories..but her latest column was pretty good...and the only reason I listen to her is because she reminds me of that masseuse...a pretty Chinese lady who, well, let's just say she believed in happy endings

anyway Michelle slammed the Republicans in Florida for a brewing education scandal involving bizarro Gov Rick Scott and former Florida Gov Jeb Bush...this Tony Bennett guy was their pick to lead education reform, but Indiana teachers caught him with his hand in the cookie jar-

the national leader in the Republican effort to overhaul public education resigned as Florida education commissioner Thursday, amid allegations that when he ran Indiana’s schools, he changed the state grade of a charter school founded by a prominent GOP donor.

In a resignation letter that surprised many, Tony Bennett dismissed the brewing scandal as "malicious and rooted in unfounded allegations" but said that it had created "a distraction from important work" and that he was leaving his post immediately.

The move came two days after the Associated Press reported that it had acquired e-mails written by Bennett in 2012, while he was running Indiana’s schools, in which he directed his staff to change the state grade for Christel House Academy. The charter school was founded by Christel DeHaan, who has given more than $2.8 million to Republicans since 1998, including $130,000 to Bennett.

the Washington Post had a more coherent story because Michele Malkin tends to get wordy and drift all over the place, but it was pretty funny anyway:

there's an old Chinese saying: すべての人間は、生まれ すべての人間は、生まれ

ie, not hearing is not as good as hearing, hearing is not as good as seeing, seeing is not as good as mentally knowing, mentally knowing is not as good as acting; true learning continues up to the point that action comes forth

well I think Michele has developed some wisdom, which is good..I wonder if she believes in happy endings?
