so the News-Press is trying to swift boat SB councilwoman Cathy Murillo...on the front page of the News-Press is a story by simp Scott Steepleton (who else) that claims people are "decrying" Cathy's stance on the Milpas Community Ass (Sharon Byrne is a total control freak) tax for eastside businesses..now why would a Milpas business that makes gravestones want to pay an extra fee to the MCA?? to attract prettier corpses?
the News-Press and MCA claim Cathy should step aside from all discussions about the eastside business district because they fear Cathy won't vote the way they want her to....
this is nonsense and a free speech issue again...but the News-Press and Dale Francisco are in bed together on this one and their target is nemesis Murillo....they tried the same anti-union antics with Das Williams but they failed miserably
a few weeks ago Dale wrote an op-ed in Sunday's News-Press about the muni golf course and wanted to privitize the grounds upkeep...Dale claimed that Murillo and Hart were against the idea because of the unions, the SEIU...in other words, Dale blames the demise of golf on the unions instead of Tiger Woods, where the blame rightfully belongs...Tiger Woods killed golf!!!
but, I still like the LPGA or women's golf tours...golf is a woman's game and men who play it are sissies like Dale Francisco...but the idea that privitizing the grounds upkeep is gonna save the golf course is nuts...why not bring in an LPGA tour..it's a beautiful course and it would be good for the city...Michele Wie, Sandra Gal, Suzanne Petersen, Stacy Lewis..class acts..bring in the girls!!!
so Dale's op-ed was a lame-ass political attempt to diss the unions, city workers and gain favor with Wendy or whoever's dick he's sucking over at the News-Press..and his bias against unions and city workers is so great he should recuse himself from all decisions related to contracts and workers...the city workers are taxpayers too
and a few days ago, conservative presidential candidate Scott Walker, the John Bircher Koch Bros boy in Wisconsin (he's the governor) compared unions and public workers (cops, firefighters, teachers) to ISIS terrorists! then he says that Reagan firing air traffic controllers in the 1980s for striking was the greatest single foreign policy decision ever made! the ATC union is as strong as ever after Reagan tried to bust it...same with the pilots and airline mechanics
but I say if Scott Walker runs for president, just let him keep talking....please
and... if Cathy has to recuse herself then so does Dale...

Remember when the downtown organizations privatized the maintenance of State street 3 decades ago. They blasted city workers and city hall. They were crying about the homeless back then too. So they got their way, fired the city, fired the white trash, negroes and long time documented hispanics. Then they hired Reagan amnesty eligibles from the U.S. instigated war torn countries south of the border to clean downtown State, on the cheap. Dale, the News Press, Sharon are using the same tactics. Shamless.
Well Hotchkiss probably knows what a conflict of interest is and what a FFP violation is as he was probably advised not to lobby on behalf of his own realtor association as he did several times in committee. If he was smart or had any integrity he would have instinctively figured it out. But, he is not and has none.
