I feel good in a special way....

have you ever spent any time in an avocado orchard? I know most of you would rather spend time in a vineyard drinking and tasting wine until your eyes are red as a nice cab..but that's not my problem.. an avocado orchard is nicer esp in October..it's got a Sleepy Hollow spooky vibe...a headless horseman kinda thing goin'on....

 

ok so today is Saturday and we have some festivities at the Avocado Fest...I am looking through the program in the Coastal View and I see a belly dance is on for today around noon...

a belly dance..a Zumba belly dance..hmmmm and on Sunday, there's Spencer the Gardener gonna play some tunes...so I usually check out the Saturday events because they are the fun ones..Sunday kinda like closes it all out...Saturday's child is in the middle, safe and sound...

oh and I see Island Brewing has a special Avocado Honey Ale for the party....these dudes add alcohol to EVERYTHING!! very crafty

very troubling

 

well, I'll take the bike down today and it's a nice but hot Saturday morning...people are starting to wake up but I see some horrific sights: a guy with white bowler legs accompanied by a short fat chick and I heard them ask themselves "where's the beer place?"..they pointed down towards Island Brewery!! today Island Brewery is having the "White Trash Special Ale"

on I go into the big avocado and see some pretty purple gals so that's better..some good bands..one was a benefit for keeping kids outta gangs throught music..YES..being in a band is like being in a gang only 100 times cooler!! a good cause for the younger set



ooh la la!!

 

and I bought some big ass avocados for tonight.....

so I'm reading the program and I see a ...a Guacomole contest on Sunday...and it has some judges..oooooh, there's Sharin Rajaee from KEYT and a few others..the KTYD morning DJs grumpy Lin and motormouth David will be there and ...but they play good music!

click your heels 3 times baby..
and see what happens!

 

and ...then I see a name that evokes great displeasure in me,   a name that makes my blood run cold,  a nombre that makes my heart skip a beat, a name that forces me to punch the punching bag...HARD!!! Arthur Von Wiesenberger from the News-Press!!

Nipper -Wendy McCuckoo's boyfriend!! and another guy from the News-Press.... Michael Cervin, a foodie reviewer...he analyses food at restaurants and tells you about it in the paper.." I had a ham-wiesen-burger and it was too complicated for my taste buds, so I had a Bud"... and they pay him for that drivel!

so Nipper and his little sidekick will be at the festival on Sunday.. I may have to check that out....and who invited this fraud anyway??? why would anyone invite a guy from the most corrupt business in Santa Barbara??

something has changed though...is the vibe a bit more conservative... that is never a good sign...where's the rock climbing thing?? the petting zoo?
