so I get my sample ballot for the primary elections and in my district we have Salud Carbajal being challenged by the Yellow Rose of Montana....Carole Lieff said on this very blog she was staying in Montana...and yet she's running for 1st District supe..why?? because of the free health care? well, the county does have lots of psychiatrists who can help with her men issues...

and Robert Mitchum's idiot son Chris is running against Abel Maldonado

why does every failed actor and artsy-schmartsy-tartsy think they wanna go into a life of public service now...their whole lives have been spent satisfying their id impulses, and now all of a sudden they want to be politicians??

teabagger Chris Mitchum is currently a candidate in the Republican primary for the 24th U.S. Congressional District of California running against Abel Maldonado...

never a real actor, Mitchum blames the leftwingers in Hollywood for ruining his career back in the day...I found an interview online...he blames people like Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland...he claims that because he was in some John Wayne movies, he was blacklisted in Hollywood...he also claims Kim Darby who starred with Wayne in True Grit was blacklisted....that's just nonsense..Wayne was at the end of his career in 1969 but was still beloved by all types of fans...the Eastwood era had started and Clint was no leftwinger....

Mitchum says he had to move to Spain for a few years where he became a big star..actually he was probably sucking up to Clint trying to get a job on "the Good the Bad and the Ugly"!

the real story about True Grit is this: The entertaining script was adapted from the novel by Charles Portis, by well-known, long time writer, Marguerite Roberts who liked to write scripts for tough men. She wrote scripts for MGM in the '30's, '40's, until she was blacklisted in 1952, for not revealing names to The Committee on Un-American Activities.

Kim Darby wasn't blacklisted..Mitchum either lied or he's too stupid to know the difference....

one thing I hate is a someone who plays a victim....conservative Jesus freak Stephen Baldwin pulled that same stunt blaming leftwingers for his failure as an actor...

but Chris Mitchum takes the cake...first of all his father was one of the great actors of all time... the awesome "Night of the Hunter", "Heaven Knows Mr. Allison" and "Cape Fear" to name a few...

Chris Mitchum's great movies were...ah..um..hmmm...I can't name one
