a readers' poll?? a questionnaire? a test? a pop quiz? a push poll??
ok..I don't do Poles unless they are extremely atttractive..however, the News-Press has a reader poll as MY READERS pointed out on Sunday's front page that asks HER readers some fearful questions about City Hall and city employees... polls of course are for idiots and Wendy is trying to see if there are any scaredy cat people out there as biased against gov't employees and afraid of a possible crime wave breaking out if any more city employees retire with pensions as she is...ughhhh!! misery love company..really, if you look at it, it's not a poll, but a questionairre...actually a multiple choice..a test!! she's giving us a pop quiz!! or maybe, knowing how Team Wendy operates, it's really just a push poll...A true push poll is not a poll at all. It is a telemarketing smear masquerading as a poll...yes I believe that's what it is..a push poll from Team Wendy....who just lost a member: Osama Bin Laden!!

so I would suggest that when you answer Wendy's questions, you include the "fuck off" option..

Googled "push poll" and found this on various sites on the Internet: "A push poll is where, using the guise of opinion polling, disinformation about a candidate or issue is planted in the minds of those being 'surveyed'. Push-polls are designed to shape, rather than measure, public opinion."
This "push poll" stuff is so lame. Say, whatever happened to Randall Van Wolfswinkel, the billionaire Texas developer who started a one-man political action committee called Preserve Our Santa Barbara so he could pump a half-mil into the campaigns of his favorite candidates? Wendy McCaw obviously approved, since the only coverage the paper gave to his attempts to influence the election was to have Travis Armstrong fawn all over him then complain that Van Wolfswinkel was being smeared by "Santa Barbara's politicians, their local high-density developer friends, subsidized housing activists and biased journalists..." Now that was kinda creative.
