get your feet wet, run with the jetset...

now I admit I don't know who's who in the fast world of local celebrities like the Baron Ron Herron, who works for Wendy and Nipper....

I'm simply not privy to the inside lives of the jetsetters in town...but the Baron has been doing radio forever and I used to see him amble down Chapala St with a glossy black KIST jacket on..he was a big fat dude...looked like a Greek to me....

it must be humiliating to work at a radio station where Nipper tells you what to do... I mean if Wendy liked fat guys, the Baron would own the radio station and be co-publisher of the News-Press.....and Nipper would be bussing tables at Chucky Cheese!

and there is a hearing at the courthouse for a guy named Barry Ron Herron for probation violation....

the only thing I found was this from the LA Times:

Santa Barbara County sheriff's detectives say the suspects allegedly used the popular website to pitch high-grade marijuana 'clones' for sale.
On Tuesday, detectives took Barry Herron, 29, of Carpinteria into custody on suspicion of growing, possessing and transporting marijuana for sale.
Investigators found more than 45 marijuana plants and other items at Herron's home that indicated he was selling the herb illegally, Sugars said.

ok so I don't know if the Baron and the kid are related, but I did find picture of Barry in a police report...and the similarites between him and the Baron are pretty obvious, especially the eyes..when they're not bloodshot...

is this more poor parenting from the folks at Team Wendy??

I don't know..I just don't know...but a possible scenario could be that Barry asked his dad if he know Lanny Ebenstein..dad said yeah and hooked them up...Barry asked Lanny if he could advertise some killer weed in the News-Press classifieds because we know Lanny had a pot house up north and Barry and his pal like to go to Mendocino alot...but Lanny said they should try Craigslist to push the pot....so they did and got busted...the only way we'll be able to tell if this story is true or even plausible is if the Baron plays "Mendocino" by the Sir Douglas Quintet next week....keep it tuned to AM 1290!!
