Darryl and wife, Scott! |
while drunk driver lawyer Darryl Genis fights for his life in Los Angeles at a State Bar hearing with wife Scott Steepleton at his side....Peter Lance moves on with hot new mysterious honey-a Soviet double agent known as "Stranger 456"...and Judge Brian Hill goes for "the gays"!!
I love L.A. (We love it)

Stranger 456 |
on the front page of the News-Press are continuing stories about drunk driver lawyer Darryl Genis, their favorite DUI enabler..written by Darry's faithful servant and News-Press wife Scott Steepleton, you'd think Darryl was not in trouble with the State Bar, but rather the State Bar is in trouble with Darryl Genis...
Darryl has a knack for freeing drunk drivers and getting them to sue the City of SB and the cops for civil rights violations!
Scott has a knack for spitting out words to see where they splatter
Hill Street Blues |
ok I'm reading Scott's story and it rambles all over the place....but what I get is the District Atty's office is full of incompetent perverts...ok one guy in this saga is named Charles Biely, former Asst. D.A. Charles Biely being caught in the act downloading PORN on his D.A. work computer, while running for Judge in 2002....and was never prosecuted for illegal use of Government Property on Taxpayers Time....Biely resigned from his job as an assistant district attorney, and withdrew from the race, after admitting he had downloaded pornography on his work computer
the News-Press had thousands of images of child porn on their computer but were never prosecuted..why???
ok...you lie with dogs you eat fleas
well I won't travel to LA to watch this debacle, but the folks accusing Darryl better have their shit together because he can be pretty conniving and might slither out of this like a snake in the grass....
so I had to check the State Bar complaint to find out what the issue with Darryl is..and here are count one and count two verbatim...no bias like Scott likes to do...
{COUNT ONE Case No. 11-O-18966 Business and Professions Code section 6068(a) [Failure to Support Laws - Making a False and Malicious State Bar Complaint]
2. Respondent willfully violated Business and Professions Code section 6068(a) by
making a false and malicious State Bar complaint in violation of Business and Professions
Code section 6043.5, as follows:
3. On or about January 7, 2010, Respondent represented the defendant in People v.
Marking-Epps ("Marking-Epps"), Santa Barbara County case no. 1313307. A. Brook Gerard
("Gerard") was the assigned Santa Barbara Deputy District Attorney in Marking-Epps.
4. Between on or about January 7, 2010 and on or about February 5, 2010, the
defendant in Marking-Epps fired Respondent as her counsel and replaced him with attorney
Charles Biely ("Biely").
5. On or about February 5, 2010, Biely identified himself as defense counsel in
Marldng-Epps to a Santa Barbara County District Attomey’s Office receptionist. The
receptionist then provided discovery for Marldng-Epps to Biely.
6. On February 19, 2010 during a court appearance in Marking-Epps, Biely appeared
as defense counsel in place of Respondent, and officially became counsel of record.
7. On or about February 20, 2010, Respondent sent an e-mail message to Stephen
Foley, then an Acting Chief Trial Deputy District Attorney in Santa Barbara. The message,
which specifically referenced Gerard, included the following passage:
"Because [Gerard] disrespected me and cost me a client, and because she has refused to give me a sincere apology, she will pay the price. I will personally make her miserable by increasing her workload until either her office,(sic) or the bench denies her the ability to oppose and disrespect me."
8. On or about February 23, 2010, Respondent made a State Bar complaint against
Gerard. The complaint alleged that Gerard wrongfully provided discovery to Biely in Marking-
Epps in violation of Penal Code section 1054.2. However, the complaint failed to disclose that
Biely received that discovery only after identifying himself as counsel for the defendant to a
Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office receptionist, and that the receptionist had
provided Biely with the discovery at issue. The complaint also omitted the fact that Biely had
in fact replaced Respondent as defense counsel in Marking-Epps before the discovery was
delivered to Biely.
9. At the time Respondent made his complaint to the State Bar, Respondent knew
Biely had replaced Respondent as defense counsel in Marking-Epps prior to Biely’s receipt of
discovery.
10. Respondent filed his State Bar complaint knowing it to be both false and malicious.
11. By complaining to the State Bar that Gerard wrongfully provided discovery in a
criminal matter, despite the fact that the release of this information was an action by a member
of the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office other than Gerard and the fact that Biely
had replaced Respondent as counsel for defendant in Marking-Epps at the time the information
was shared with Biely, Respondent made a false and malicious State Bar complaint in willful
violation of Business and Professions Code section 6043.5, and thereby failed to comply with
the laws of the State of Califomia.
COUNT TWO Case No. 11-O-18966 Business and Professions Code section 6106 [Moral Turpitude]
12. Respondent willfully violated Business and Professions Code section 6106 by
committing an act involving moral turpitude, dishonesty or corruption, as follows:
13. The facts and allegations of Count One are incorporated by reference.
14. On or about February 26, 2010, Respondent filed a motion to strike in the matter of
People v. Damer, Santa Barbara County case no. 1345169. In that motion, Respondent included
the following passage: "This is yet another example of [Gerard] acting in ignorance and breaking the law, all in the name of performing her official duties as a Deputy District Attorney. On February 23, 2010, she admitted to committing a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 1054.2 by giving police reports and other sensitive confidential information to someone other than a person authorized by that code section."
15. In fact, Gerard did not admit to providing police reports or any other "sensitive
confidential information" to anyone not authorized to receive such information.
16. At the time he filed the motion described above, Respondent knew, or was grossly
negligent in not knowing, that Gerard never made the claimed admission and that the
accusation against Gerard was false. By alleging within a motion before a court that Gerard
admitted to committing a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 1054.2 despite the
absence of any admission, Respondent committed an act involving moral turpitude, dishonesty
or corruption.}
BTW, "moral turpitude" is the byline of the News-Press
so now the big question is drunk driving down or up since the Lance hearing got everybody in the spotlight? all the regulars who kept showing up in the criminal or civil court system, where are they now? I don't know..some like DeNunzio and Britteny sued the city for civil rights violations...those lawsuits won't get them any money...I guarantee that!!!
have drunks learned any lessons? I hope so: DON"T DRINK AND DRIVE
has the DA's office learned any lessons? don't look at porn at work
but maybe just maybe SB citizens should elect Wayne Scoles mayor...Wayne was on Mr. Wimpy's show and he was talking about himself and the gov't conspiracy against him..he says if he's elected, he'll fire city administrator Jim Armstrong and Chief of Police Cam Sanchez for "ruining his life"!! Mr. Wimpy as usual just jerked off his crazed rightwing guests..
so Wayne is running on a vendetta against the City of Santa Barbara!! all these Birchers are gonna bring down the city of Santa Barbara and get to the bottom of the Commie conspiracy against the moral Christian rightwingers in town...most of whom are drunks in their own right!!
Darryl may have run out of rope ....until then, he and the News-Press will continue to be thorn in the side of sober people everywhere
so I heard Judge Brian Hill testified...Hill is the judge who let Lance off the hooker for DUI but he missed a chance at taking out Darryl Genis..instead he praised Darryl as the "best DUI lawyer on the central coast" according to Scott's report..I'm not surprised Judge Hill would say that......
life is full of surprises!

Tried watching the interview with Wayne Scoles, but Worthen took up so much time talking about himself, I lost interest. BTW, the title of the show was "Worthen One on One: With Wayne Scoles, Their "Is" a race for Mayor of SB." Their?
"Who Are You Voting For? - Edhat Stuff" -- Nevie Cramer would be furious! Grammar is OVER!
Mick
You list count one and count two, are there more counts to the Darryl Genis saga?
