I bet Jason is crying right now..maybe it was something he said like he joined the Civil Affairs division of the Army because he didn't want to be a "trigger puller"!! leave the dirty work to the riff-raff combat crew, eh Jason??

but anyways the SB View wants answers to the homeless folks hanging out on State St..that's the question they have for the wannabe city council candidates...well, why not point all the homeless to the Reagan Ranch Center!!! tell 'em to go down there and hang out..there's plenty of room on the grounds and plenty of other drunks in the Funk Zone to welcome them...

so the reason the homeless hang in Santa Barbara is because the buildings remind them of Camarillo Mental Hospital!!! they feel right at home here!
you wanna solve the homeless issue, you gotta change the architecture in Santa Barbara from Spanish Adobe/ Romanesque Revival to something simple like Craftsman/ bungalows or perhaps some more Greek Revival....now let's get to work!!

The Camarillo Hospital was where SB attorneys, judges, and others sent their used wives when they got tired if them. When Wm. Otte, local artist, got his UCSB student housekeeper pregnant he sent the wife to Camarillo! The baby died and is in Los Olivos cemetary; his widow lived many years as his respected widow.
I'm sure the News-Press is now a mad house because anyone still working there would have to be crazy! If you want to destroy your reputation and future as a journalist, take a job with the News-Press. Anyone with any credibility left the newspaper when McCaw took it over, after being duped by the New York Times to buy the failing rag. If you're a lousy enough business person to buy a fleabag local newspaper for $100M, you're certainly not in your right mind, either! The paper is now staffed by half-wits from asylums around the state, who were turned loose and wandered to the steps of the News-Press. Just read the mindless, meandering stories in the paper now and that should tell you it's the work of the mentally-challenged. You'd have to be locked up to want to read the drivel that passes for journalism in the News-Press. Maybe most of it's customers buy the paper so they'll have something to tear into little strips as they sit in the attic. The don't call her Wendy McCuckoo for nothing. It's one flew over the McCuckoo's nest now. You can tell a worker from the News-Press by the lobotomy scars over their eyes. If McCaw couldn't brainwash them into thinking unions were Satan's spawn, she had their frontal lobes removed so they'd think she was God and GOP propaganda she thinks is "news." Yes, next time you pass the News-Press, peek through the bars and feel pity for the poor louts locked in that snake pit McCuckoo calls a news paper! Queen of the lunatics!
