tequila sunrise

"take another shot of courage"

oh yeah...Labor Day weekend was awesome..good weather and tons of people at the beach..the classic cars on the highways...some sharks even had a BBQ!

warning signs were posted

but the News-Press couldn't muster up any praise for the American worker which is not a surprise since Wendy never worked for a living...she got her money the old fashioned way: divorce settlement!! hahahaha!!

but there was the Tequila Festival at Elings Park..they have a Beer Festival over there too for the Rugby players..but unfortunately, no tennis players are allowed at the Tequila Fest...

first off, I never really liked tequila because it can really get you drunk quick...and it can rip you a new asshole if you're not careful...it's really really bad stuff..and bad for you...there is no good thing that can come from drinking tequila...the kids drinking this shit will have to figure that out for themselves...just look at an old alcoholic in a bar, drinking a margarita..not a pretty sight..

and what about these festivals that last only a few hours...festivals last days..Woodstock lasted three days man..three days!! and the SB Film Fest lasts a few weeks..but a few hours? why not just call it what it is....HAPPY HOUR!!

let's see, the good folks putting on this event had some tips..like what to wear...

SBTH 2013: Dress Code

The Santa Barbara Tequila Harvest Festival will be held outdoors in a large grass area on a beautiful summer afternoon.

Recommended Attire:
Ladies: A light top with slacks or a sundress with wedges, flats, or sandals instead of heels (we don’t want you sinking into the grass) and a fashionable summer hat.

SBTH 2013: Parking & Transportation

Transportation:
We highly encourage the use of a taxi cab as the means of transportation to get to and from the the Santa Barbara Tequila Harvest Festival. This way you avoid the hassle of dealing with limited parking and a $5 parking fee. Honestly, after sampling from 30 Premium Tequila and Mezcal labels, you just might find yourself in need of a taxi cab. There will be convenient Taxi drop-off and pick-up zone located right in front of the entrance gate. To sweeten the deal, we have partnered with Beachside Cab Company and they will be offering Special Rates to all who reserve and mention that there destination is the Santa Barbara Tequila Harvest Festival. Reserve your taxi cab by calling (805) 966-5600.

and yet another festival that suggests you won't be able to drive home because the events will render u too shit-faced to drive...

and the Tequila gals..well...judge for yourselves...kinda skanky looking
I'll take the Pepsi girls anyday!!
