where do the children play

I know we've come a long way, we're changing day to day, but tell me, where do the children play?

generally I support youth organizations even the YMCA and YWCA...Boy's and Girl's Clubs..the Boy Scouts...but with all the reports of child abuse that has been covered up by some of these nonprofits, I'm appalled at the lack of leadership...the Catholic Church hasn't shown leadership with the priests and bishops....kids need a place to go where adults won't molest them or hit them!! and any adult found breaking this cardinal rule should be in prison....or hanged

 now there was a series of articles over at Noozhawk about non-profits which were funded by non-profit Hutton-Parker Foundation..conservatives love nonprofits..the only problem is there's no oversight and there's tons of money, power and now child abuse hidden behind the dark walls..what is the Hutton Parker Foundation??? just another tax-exempt organization...I'll have to investigate them...an audit so to speak..some oversight..some real oversight...

the stories at Noozhawk that were sponsored by Hutton Parker were all about the good works done at local youth programs..I'm sure there are many good people working at these facilities...I'm sure they have the kid's best interests at heart...I'm sure they are licensed child psychologists or have some sort of background working with kids...well I used to be sure anyway...

child abuse is the worst....worse even than DUI..there is no one lower that a child abuser....kids can't defend themselves so they depend on adults to take care of them until they can fend for themselves....I love the sound of babies screaming and crying or kids playing outside....it's the sound of life..some people don't like kids...or the sound of life

bad advice, Preacher Caldwell!

Let's concentrate on these folks, ok?? all these nonprofits who supposedly care for children have some issues with the people they hire who then abuse children...the Catholics tell the kids to obey their elders who then molest them....case in point is the News-Press/Andy Caldwell fretting over the new bill aimed at taking away the tax exempt status of abusive institutions...places that look the other way when they know about child abuse...and media who don't dig deeper into these people and just do fluff pieces on them...now that is unconscionable...like child porn on the News-Press computers..unconscionable

Andy's words of wisdom is to allow adults unfettered access to children!! unfettered access?? like priests had?? that's the freakin problem!!

ok so Noozhawk finally had a story about this guy: David Bleecker- Licensed After School Program Director

scrutinize non-profits!!

 

it seems like some kids accused Bleecker of hittting them with a pool cue, so he resigned from the Carp Boys and Girls Club..of course he said he never hit them only tapped on the pool table to remind them to keep their mitts off..

the allegations in this story are very disturbing...

the DA better investigate this and I've a feeling it's just the tip of the iceberg....so Noozhawk after gushing over non-profits had to do this story about possible child abuse...how could they not??

I will give Noozhawk credit for publishing it.....there was nothing in the Coastal View, nothing in the News-Press or Independent...or Sentinel or Montecito Journal..just more fluff..

oh if someone hit a dog with a pool stick, it would be front page center in the News-Press...but I don't care about the News-Press...I do care about kids and keeping them safe

adults found breaking that trust are on my radar and they should be worried....
