oh, so if you get drunk and drive the wrong way on the highway and kill and maim people, you can hire Wendy's ex lawyer Barry Capello who will get you off with a multi-million dollar award by suing the county of Santa Barbara and blaming the sheriff for not training his officers on how to deal with a drunk wrong way driver?????

WTF is that about....and the county fell for it and has to pay up....is it any wonder they are in debt??I can't believe this.... I heard about the accident a few years ago but never in my wildest dreams would think the sheriff could be held responsible for a driver driving drunk the wrong way down the highway...
what kind of enabling system of justice do we have here?? Capello-what a piece of crap you are and what a bigger piece of crap the drunk driver is, Richard Rodriguez..
that's tax money going to support drunk drivers who kill people...

As I recall the action the sheriffs took was stupid and was partly responsible for the accident. Look it up; don't fault Capello or the judicial system.
oh don't you worry... I fault the system and I got a big story on Barry tomorrow...the only person responsible for this incident is Rodriguez, the drunk driver- and it's idiots like you who can't accept personal responsibilty for anything!!
i guess the half of the family that did not get killed were trying to figure out a way to pay for lifelong medical bills for the young girls who were permanently injured. i can't fault the family for that.
